well, we've got Kingdom Hearts, BloodRayne, Summoner 2, and Onimusha 3 that are PS2 but one of our main reasons for getting the Ps2 was the fact that we have a ton of PS games just sitting around since some little cousins broke ours... and we still like the PS games enough to want to play them still :b

even if the PS3 debutes in a month...

Gamecube sucks, never get one. I got one when they first came out and now regret it. PS2 and X-box get all the good games and Gamecube is just left with the classic Ninetendo games or ones similar to them (which aren't to bad) but most of the new games go to PS2 and X-box. Plus PS2/X-box can play DVDs and you can play against other living people without having them in your living room.

The gamecube online mode just isnt as robust as something like Xbox live. It's far too good.

I hooked my PS2 up a while back and hardly found any players over several games online.

Halo 2 on the other hand . . .

Alright, in my opinion PS2 has a lot of great games and I don't know what that one guys on saying that Gamecube is better than all other systems. I have Gamecube, and I wish I didn't. It has only 5 good games that aren't little kid/drug-head games. I love RPGs and PS2 has them coming out like mad.

Xenosaga is pretty good if your more story based. And they also have Final Fantasy going for them. And the backwards compatibility is useful if you don't already have a PS with all the greats on that.

If you don't like RPGs, Armored Core is one of the greatest mech games out there. Many explosions...Also, they have Way of the Samurai 2 which is really corny but fairly entertaining with many paths to take. And if your a DBZ fan (like my younger sibling) you might enjoy Budakai 2. Personally, I prefer Soul Calibur 2 with Spawn in it. And get games from the Legacy of Kain series, other than Blood Omen 2. Legacy of Kain (excluding Blood Omen 2) kicks many varieties of ass.

Since I don't own PS2, I can't really give you an extensive list, but there are a number. If you're after online play, trade in for an X-Box. If you want a console for your children, or you enjoy drugs, I would suggest Gamecube. Oh, and Blockbuster has the PS2 as it's largest section for video game rentals.

I aint saying Gamecube is better.

Everyone has there own likes and dislikes, i love the Gamecube and i love my X-box.

Every console is good in it's own way, i love Devil May Cry and thats the only reason i like PS2.

When does the Ps3 debut?

I just bought Devil May Cry 3 the other day. Very stylish game, in my humble opinion, though if you haven't played another Devil May Cry game, it's learning curve can be quite steep. Hell, even the first DMC was diamond-hard! The first boss had me fighting it over ten times before I finally conquered it!

Of course, after that battle, the battles to come seemed much less difficult.

And I rather enjoyed Ys, the Ark of Napishtim.
