The CG series had tremendous potential if they had made it less kiddy-orientated.

It had potential but I think they should have done it continuing on from where the film left off.
The thing that got me the most though was the weird alien that joined the roughnecks. Until then the aliens had come across as predatory, suddenelly they were talking and walking round like humans.

They seemed to simply bring in superfluous characters in order to flesh out thier range of action figures for that year.
I shudder to think what the star wars cg series will be like, considering the younger target audience they went with for the clone wars cartoon series.

Dark City is a great film, think of it as a more pure version of The Matrix.

Starship troopers is good but I only saw about 3/4 of it hey I was 5!!! And when my mum found me watching it well she sorta turned the T.V off oh my life torture I can watch 12s and have and 18 on video and seen a few other 18s (Robocop 3 and Satrship troopers) I want to see Starship Troopers 2. I saw it in block buster but 11 (me) rating:18 figure what my mum said. But the first 1 was good I love the warrior bugs and like the part where the Brain Bug sucks the brain out that guy also Chariot bugs are weird...back to oh what's the topic now??? We've gone through at least 5 films already...... And whose seen the following films:Tremors, Tremors2, Tremors3, Gremlins, Deep Rising, Starship Troopers, Critters, Mimic and Mimic 2. Yes they are all well except Gremlins 15s or 18s. I've seen screenshots from a right cool website, but they took it down (too much violence for the kids who are finding this website. Blablablablabla too much violence they were only pictures but one still freaks me out.... The one from DeepRising where that guy has no skin and ya see his flesh all over him as endlessly bleeds and he has a hole through his left hand urgghh (shudder shudder)

Starship Troopers 2 was horrid and had nothing of the first. There were no ships, no Intelligence, no good acting, no larger than life type settings.
Tremors just was horrid - period. Except the first one. But other than that, they were truly atrocious.
Mimic -- ewww.
A very close to fact sci fi movie would be Deep Impact.

Alien? Sorry I think NXRCI got to my head. It was a great site with all the monsters (alien speicies) from those films and others but to many kids under age rating, (I'm 11 looking at 18 stuff) where on the site so they closed it down and it was a good site. AND PITCH BLACK WAS THERE!!! I'M ANNOYED CAUSE DARTH NIGHTMARE (MY RP CHARACTER) IS LIKE GRIEVOUS BUT LOOKS A BIT LIKE THE NOCTURNAL HAMMERHEAD! (THE MONSTER IN PITCH BLACK) SO SCARY so scary... The Nocturnal Hammerhead is so so so so.... Incredibly cooooll!!!!!!! Yep violent and horror films are my middle name (actually it's Thomas Jack Wilson not Thomas Horror and Violent Movies Wilson but it sounded good). But my faviroute (if you class it as Sci-fi) isn't a movie but...........................................................................................
Doctor Who!!! "Let me give you a little advice, when your trying to execute someone by trapping them next to a wall, make sure the wall isn't an elevator door"- Doctor in Episode 5 of the 9th seiries (World War Three) where one of the Slitheen in an army commander's skin orders his men to execute the Doctor before the doctor walks into an elevator and escapes.
