That it does. My desktop does a lot better for gaming (runs Halflife 2 rather well at pretty high settings), but this laptop gets 90% of my use. Browsing the internet from bed or outside is nice, but doing a little bit of writing in my lazyboy is the best.
I'd like to make my own PC but there's really no point for me to have one if I'm going to be on submarines. Supposedly I can take a laptop though, so I'll just keep this one relatively up to date and buy a bunch of good RPGs or something before I go on deployment for months at a time.
Rig a rechage device relying on Hydro-power to operate and put a small propeller attached to a wire outside of the submarine.
We aren't exactly rich, it was a homebuilt machine so it cost just over a thousand bucks all said and done, but how powerful your machine is will also determine how fat you will get sitting in front of it. Better computers attract fatter asses sitting in front of them longer.
And yes, Hyfe. It smokes. I'd have a laptop also, were they not so bloody costly and difficult to deal with when it comes time for upgrades. My fingers aren't Malaysian... or 8 years old.
