Dell Dimension Model 4600; Intel Pentium IV; 2.8GHz CPU; 256MB RAM; 80GB 7200RPM disk drive; CD-R/W drive; Windows XP Pro; 15-inch NEC Multisync 1525M LCD Monitor; and Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse.

Well, you didn't mention what the graphics card is, so I'm guessing it's an Intel Integrated, using shared memory. Bad news if you want to play Halflife in its full glory. A memory and GFX card upgrade would be a perquisite, though if it's working fine now, maybe just a memory upgrade would do.

Not too bad though, new computers are always nice.

Shoulda gone for the 512 mb ram, Zark. We have virtually the same computer aside from that.

We should play CS Source sometime.

I know, it isn't that good, but hey, I'm working on limited funds here.

Well, it's from Dell, so I don't know how much they let you customize their systems. But if it was a custom built, you could have gotten a card from a generation previous for probably about the same or maybe a little more, and probably gotten double the performance from it.

But, if it works, use it.

I have no idea what the hell you just said, but I think it had something to do with assuming the card came with the PC, which it didn't. It was bought seperately.

And it was a Christmas present, Kas.
