Yes, a new computer. I rox0rz. No, Ren. I'm sorry, but I didn't get the Macintosh I wanted. Apologies, but Half-Life 2 is much too important.
SPECS:
Dell Dimension Model 4600; Intel Pentium IV; 2.8GHz CPU; 256MB RAM; 80GB 7200RPM disk drive; CD-R/W drive; Windows XP Pro; 15-inch NEC Multisync 1525M LCD Monitor; and Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse.
I shall now await for Ren's steady stream of cursing, Kas' acknowledgement that my computer is 'pretty good' but not without the casual remark that his could run circles around it, and Gash's drunken ramblings.

Not bad....you need to upgrade the RAM so that it can get good rates with Half-Life 2 if that's what you're buying it for. At least get another 256 stick. And Demosthenes, Windows XP is crap thus making that the WORST thing in his system. If you upgrade the RAM, you should be able to run Half-Life 2 and most other games pretty well. Oh, and don't forget to get some kind of Anti-Spyware program if that thing doesn't come with it. Good luck :)

Way to integrate yourself into the nerd enviornment. Unfortunately for you, the position of computer geek is already filled (see: Kas).
Good-bye.

Half-Life 2 is a little choopy. Not unbearable. I'll probably invest in some more RAM soon. Counter-Strike: Source runs really smoothly, though. Almost no lag.

My comp is a 2.8 ghrtz, but the family computer is a kick ass freaking 3.1 ghrtz. I want to swap them, but daddy says no.

A New Card would do fine...
