When people die, are they always gone? Does it really mean you're gonna be apart from them for ever more? Everyone keeps telling me that just cus they're dead they aint gone but how can that be true? I can't talk or touch them anymore so how can they still be there?


Someone please explain to me cus I'm failing to understand.

Hmmm, some people believe that the soul, the unseen essence of a person, 'lives' on when there's something that, in corporeal life, hasn’t been completed or accomplished.

Some people say that the soul stays behind instead of moving on because there are people still living that can't bear to be without the decedent.

There are still others who believe that the spirit of bad, or evil, people stay behind to torment the living.

I think the movie Poltergeist has some pretty good explanations on why the souls of the dead stay behind.

Hope that helps.....but then again, these are just rumors that I've been privy to.

Well ya see, if you're saved by Lord Jesus Christ, then you go to heaven in the streets of gold when you die. And if not, then you go to hell to be tortured for eternity. And if the people you know go to the same place as you, then you're gonna see them there.

In heaven, there's no pain, and in hell, there's eternal pain. It's very complicated. Read the bible. Save yourself.

well... some people just don`t see god possible because they don`t believe in something greater than themselves and rely on scientific things, but who knows? What if the hindu`s are right? perhaps the christians or some other religion...

no one knows, but I personally ain`t a religious person at all... for each his own I say.... if I die and god exits then I`ll burn in hell for the rest of eternity...all tough I`ve heard some say that in fact hell is a cold place....otherwise if I my beliefs are right then I`ll just sease to exist....

but in a way I hope that death wouldn`t be the end....

If you read the bible like I do, then you'd see that it has the answers that other religions don't. I've looked into many, and trust me, the bible has all of the answers that other religions don't...



It's just so damn long....

Some people merely speak metaphorically when they say the dead are not really gone. Meaning, as long as you remember them they are 'living' in your memory and that someone is only truly 'dead' if you forget them. They may not be around to talk to or 'feel' but the memory of them still affects you (hopefully for the better... good times and all that).

tell me something Kurt.... are your parents religious? Have they pounded that all in your head and told them to read the bible? Tell that to some person from another religion and he`ll say the other way, it`s just your word against his and nothing more....

My parents couldn't care less. Shut the hell up.

well sorry... I have a bad way of attacking people`s religion and questioning them....
