Music doesn't excite me the same as it does other people, apparently. I've been listening to the same U2 disc for the past six months, and even then that was just to get a break from White Light rock and roll review, which I'd been listening to solidly since it's release. Before that, it was a barenaked ladies disc. Just disc one, though. Is it somewhat unusual to listen to the same disc for months?

If he's realeased a new CD, I might pick it up in a few months once I get tired of this disc I'm listening to, if I recall correctly Matthew Good makes good fighting music - music you listen to then want to go hit someone over. Good for TRF.

I can't do this for more than a week. I end up glutting myself on the music and not being able to listen to it for prolonged periods of time. Saying that, I do got hooked on a single track now and then and listen to it like it's crack for my ears.

As an aside, someone on a Matt Good community that I'm a member of got their copy shipped a day early and said the acoustics sound incredible.

I got mine.

Haven't gotten past the first two tracks (Big City Life and Oh Be Joyful) but I'll let you know how it all sounds.

It's nice to have tracks like Load Me Up and Strange Days is CD quality again... and it's been forever since I've heard the LOTGA stuff...

Acoustic CD looms nearer...
