The Remnants of Ivan are spinning off in between Nova Scotia and NewFoundland right now. Tropical Jeanne is off the Bahamas, forecast to become a hurricane, and due to weak steering currents, go whichever which way. Right now the majority models have it going northeast, then southeast, then southwest, then west, and finally northwards torwards the Carolinas in a tight looping motion. This one is going to be around for a little while. Hurricane Karl, the 5th Major Hurricane of the season, is forecast to zoom north at a ridicoulous speed and bother Britian and Iceland as an extremley powerful extratropical cyclone at the end of a 5 day period. Tropical Storm Lisa is forecast to become a minimal hurricane soon, and move in our general direction, although it will take it weeks to get it anywhere near us.
