My then-significant other once fell asleep at the wheel of my car, and rammed into a boat trailer while going 85 on the freeway on the way to vacation. The engine of the boat crashed through the window where I would have been seated, had I not been in the back seat asleep. Which is good because although the driver's side airbag inflated, the passenger's side one didn't. The car was totaled.

We're not together anymore, but that's not why.

I once forgot to put a truck in reverse (park on a stick-shift), and it rolled two feet, and into the side panel of another truck.

Other than that, I've got a perfect record. I do powerslides on gravel roads though, which is a lot of fun..

... as I'm in love with Skylines.

I thought I was the only one. I'd love to have an R34. Though I'd like to have an RX-7, the FD. Would be much fun. Not to mention something like a GTO or a Charger, or a Mustang GT-500, or ... ok I'll stop talking about cars now. lol.

Nice car, otherwise. But I imagine you'll need some paint done too, eh?

Not sure who you were directing that comment at Milkshake, but I don't drink and drive, heh ...

I was going 25 mph at the time , in heavy rain, so be aware out there people, you do not need to be going overly 'fast' to lose control. I find that is a misconception a lot of people tend to have. (Though obviously driving faster increases your chances).

...and in answer to your question Omnae, the insurance did. ;)

Seth has it right. You don't need to be speeding to lose control. It'd just started raining as it was.

When I get the funds, I'm going to have it fixed up. I have plans on turning it into a sleeper, and I want to get it repainted to a dark turquoise bluish color.
