Hey, look what I did

*cries*

It doesn't really look TOO bad at this angle for some reason, but trust me. it got pretty messed up.

Now we start to see just how close to getting myself to the tree (and consequently smashed) I was. Strangely enough, the door still closes. There's a gap, but it closes.

Another lovely view.

I've already started taking the inner panels off so I can hammer it back out. It's looking like I need to remove the back seats though to get the panel all the way off. There's glass everywhere :(

This is the only damage to the underneath. Easily fixable, as far as I know.

Here you can see just how deep it goes in. Now imagine that just a little further forward. All things considered, I consider myself damn lucky.

Another view.

And finally, from the back end. As you can see, there's a gap now between the body and the hatchback.

Who wouldv'e thought that trees don't move out of your way when you spin out?

That's solid. Good luck fixing that, I have a feeling you'll need it.

As an aside, my van has a huge fucking dent in it now. As my dad was driving away to work instead of continuing an arguement with my brother, he picked up a concrete block he had a bike resting on and hurled it. It hit the back of the van and tore a nice gash in it, and then came down, taking out a taillight and the bumper. It's a fucking mess.

I'd post cool pics too but some fucking bastard store my digicam. ~_~

How'd you do that, S'il? Not drunk I hope... >_>

Nope, not drunk. I was on my way to work when I started to slide off the road (it'd just started raining). Was half on the shoulder and half on the road, and about 2 seconds after getting it back onto the road, the front driver's side tire busts off the rim and sends me into a spin. The tree dinna get outta the way in time. I still remember feeling the car lift up off the two passenger tires and come back down again. It was pretty surreal. And you know, I was more mad than anything else. I got back home (the boss told me to not come in to work; such a dear) and pitched a cussing fit.

As for fixing it, I've already started hammering it out, and it's working. The gap in the door is almost gone, so I'll feel better once that's taken care of. Ask Charley if you don't believe me.

I've already had a few people tell me I won't be able to fix it, so it's nice to know I'm right :) It's an '88 Acura Integra LS; hell, I can push the thing it's that light. I know it'll be tough to get to the really bad part because of the seats, but I know I can do it.

You do that. Though, to avoid being like me, you should hit it head on.
