Jade, XP installs over ME, you won't have an excess of unused files there. If anything, maybe a couple hundred MB's, which is nothing...

No. I've been using the Home edition for a few weeks, and it has not crashed yet. If you're careful, and don't install crap, pretty much any OS will be stable.

My XP Home Edition has never crashed either, but then again, I dont have PC games on mine either. Hubbys got TONS of games on his and his XP crshed, making him delete EVERYthing and reformatting and recovering his whole PC. Ive been lucky and never had to do it. Good thing too, I lent my recovery CDs to a friend of ours and she was arrested, then evicted. She no longer works at Wal-Mart, so I dont know where she is in order to get my CDs back.

Anyways, Kas, Im stuck with ME on my PC then?
