Sam: I have no plans for Thanksgiving, may I come over?

*puts on sad puppy eyes*

Really though, having no where to go for Thanksgiving is depressing. At least I'm not underwater. This year.

we cut back on the turkey this year, so it's only 14 pounds instead of the usual over 20. And supposedly I only need to cook a few sides but considering I thought I wasn't cooking at all till they told me yesterday I was, I don't know about that. When you tell someone your going to spend the holiday at someone else's house, you really should let them know when you decide your not :( Good thing I'd planned to cook the turkey anyway so I had it thawing...

Heh. We bought pre-cooked turkeys this year, from Garl's BBQ, two of them, about 15lbs each, and are going to cook the rest of it. We have the best family recipes for Mac&Cheese, Stuffing, Mashed Potates and Gravy, home cooked bread, etc.

EDIT: Beff: The actual holiday, not the advertising and sales for it.
