I agree with you on pretty much everything Demos except the problem is Paul Martin will be associated with corruption for the next 20 years so some people won't vote for him. And he's made some stupid mistakes like the notwithstanding clause idea or as you mentioned the soldiers with guns in our cities ad.

Basically I would vote for Liberal just because I think the NDP is stupid, the conservatives i just disagree with which pretty much leaves me with the Liberals because I wouldn't want to throw away my vote.

My problem with Conservatives is just what Demos said. They'll make us America Junior. The Conservatives were the idiots whom allowed Free Trade with the US to come about and I can't forgive them for that. So many Canadian businesses got crushed by the Yanks that our economy is currently more American based than ever.

I support NDP and CPC because they seek to renationalize the hydro and gas (and make costs more sane again). I more support the CPC because they just put on the table hw they're against people like Bush. Yeah, the chance of them getting elected is as likely as the KKK deciding to let black people into their ranks. But I want to show my support for people like the CPC and who knows? Maybe in 50 years time....

Oh, and I want Chretien back because if anyone rubbed him wrong, he solved it like any other French man. Jumping the guy and beating him!
