Crack out the markers and let's throw paint. Paintball season is here.

I paintball as well, here in Wisconsin. I have to say though, that I act mostly as a scout, so I do very little actual fighting.

Well it really depends on where you paintball to. Do you play out in the woods with some friends or do you pay rental fees for a professional field?

Because those fields are expensive as Hell!

I play outlaw in the woods with some friends. Or in the state-owned gravel pit next to my mum's land.

What kind of pb are you playing? I think I spend maybe six hundred last year, and most of that was in purchasing my kit. I can't imagine car racing for less than that, unless you're just racing busted beaters. And still, that's expensive.
Field fees are really expensive here (like the land) and most places make you use field paint. An autocross is $30. A rallycross is $35. You spend gas to get to either place. If I hadn't gone to Ft. Meade (the afformentioned shock-killing ruts) I would have clocked in around $600 for racing 20 times.

Eh? Real AutoX eats through tires like nothing else... drag racing is even worse.

Oh, I suppose. I don't pay a field fee, just air and paint. I only play two, maybe three times a month too. Come to think of it, my pb hobby costs about the same as the upkeep on my dirtbike. For some reason that thing needs a three-hundred dollar bill every year. The price one pays to keep an oldie in tip-top condition, I guess.

Shush you. I'm trying to keep from being excluded from a manly-style topic about guns'n'cars.

That truck won't be going anywhere fast when gas hits $3/gal this summer.
