I still don't get what about that statement would make Taja mad. All he's saying is that he believes Muslims should recognize that according to their faith the rest of the world is going to hell, so they should let them go nancing on their way in peace.
Unless Taja supports the forceful conversion (and thus, avoidance of going to hell) of non-muslims...?
I thought he meant hell figuratively, not HELL-hell as in the place of fire and eternal damnation in the after-life.
In which case, I really don't think the Islamic protests are being carried out because the Muslims are worried about the rest of the world going to (HELL-)hell.
Apparently what he's saying is that any religion not practiced by Americans will get you a one way ticket to hell, no exceptions, which of course is not true from my point of view, making his statement false in unification.
The american way tends (at least from the part of the country where I'm at) to be that no one gives a rip about what you believe, so long as you're not badgering them with it.
I question whether or not he knows enough about Islam to be able to make the statement that according to Islam every non-muslim is going to hell. Here at TRF we don't for the most part know jack about Islam and I think somebody should get a bit more educated before making generalizations along the lines that Otaku made.
Otaku, take a little time with writing those posts of yours. It makes it easier to argue with you when we actually know what the hell we're talking about. :ohwell
Marth makes a good point. If you don't know anything about the religion/whatever, best then not to make any sort of generalizations about it.
