omg
Before this becomes a problem, let's wait and see what Kach has to say. Until then, as posted in the OOC forum with some vigor, the rules as quoted above apply.
Thank you.

Ok, I was just trying to avoid problems. My bad again.
Its ok Jan.
I to would like to hear from Kach.. I'll PM him to have him look at this thread.
I do understand Kach's jurisdiction when it comes to Korribon, that being said, if he come's here and tells me (or asks me) not to use my thread to take over Korribon, then I'll revert the thread back to what I had origally planned - that Korribon would just be a location for one of the events I had planned. It won't be a take over then ;)
Anyway, until Kach responds, I won't use that thread to take over Korribon :)

Kach has spoken ;)
Zaithrone Descent will NOT be a take over thread, nor will Lavality's Assault :)

Bro who the heck have you been PMing like crazy? Your box is full again.
Anyway I have a suggestion to prevent something like this happening in the future:
How about a thread that lists the planets being targeted for take over (with a link to active take over thread that was started for it)?
I know your supposed to put the targeted planet in the title, but due to the number of active threads going in the Battlegrounds the take over threads can get 'lost' to the second or even third page quickly, especially if the participants are slow posters.
As myself and Kal found out, we didn't even know Korribon was already 'targeted' for take over until Jan told us in this thread: the owned planet list and galaxy map does not reveal if someone is already targeting the planet. So a 'targeted' planet list would be helpful in this situation, especially since there are apparently still multi-planet take overs going on even after the new policy was implimented.
Granted, I would also suggest something of a time limit for a planet take over. Nothing too harsh (due to the slow posters out there), just something to ensure the aggressor is actually planning on taking the planet rather then just being a jack ass and only 'saying' he's taking it to keep other's from trying for it. Say if the limit is six months (just an example) and a take over thread still isn't finished by that time: unless the primary poster has a RL reason for not finishing it (school, military, etc) that planet would become 'untargeted' and free for someone else to attempt to take.
Just a couple of suggestions.

I like the idea, just hope the staff see's these suggestion's :)
I do have a thing about the multiplanet take over thread's, even after the staff said NO to them.. there are still several of them active.
Hmm.. as for the PMs.. I don't know waht happened
I had only 63 in my box this morning but when I got hte e-mail that my box was full I looked at my Total and it was "0 Unread, Total 145"
Something tell's me something screwed up :P
It's cleaned out now ;)

I just suggested the "target planet list thread" idea and was told it wasn't needed. Essentially the idea is that you do a search of TRF using the search function to see if its currently being taken over and also then you find out about the history of the planet at TRF.
And the time limit thing somewhat applies, but it more concerns an inactive takeover. If the thing is ongoing for 6 months, but is still active, its all good. If its been dead for like 6 months, you can probably start a different takeover or something like that (or at least thats how it has been done in the past)
As for multiplanet takeovers, the one taking Korriban was started before the staff ruling (I think). And if its a two planet takeover then its less enforced (for example some systems have two habitable planets, ex: Kashyyyk/Trandosha, and its easier to take both of them at the same time in one thread than two different thread).
And as long as no one complains or whatever, a two planet takeover would probably slip though.
More importantly, how do you you go from 0 to 63 PMs in 3 days?

I didn't go from 0 to 63 in three days
Until a few days ago, I was border lining on 90 PMs in my box. When my sister tried to pm me a day ago I empited out some of my PMs..
but earlier today it was as if someone had used a back up copy, because instead of just having 63 (which is the number that it was when I deleted my PMs a day ago) when I came back on an hour ago my PM box was listed as having over a hundred PMs (which wasn' true because even though it said that, there where no additional PM's in my box)

Ok, well its just 3 days ago you said you'd emptied it and then you said you were up to 63 in the morning and then 145 later on (the 145 i knew was a glitch, but the 63 seemed to be an actual number). So I was a little surprised. I wasn't really being serious about the whole PM bit though.
