Nam Chorios is being opressed by the Loronar Corporation right now, even though we are about to liberate it.

Telan Desaria
Actually, things in the Empire are rather peaceful on the internal front.

Though it might appear nit-picky, the question as posed appears to be more about what places are oppressed, not what places are orderly - as it is well known, order often breeds oppression. Thus, a peaceful planet might still be languishing under unjust rulers.

For example, although the throngs of Coruscant are hardly battering at the gates to bring the Empire down, the treatment of none-humans has certainly deteriorated to the point that many might want out. Thispias suffered greatly by the arrival of the Imperial Army, as that meant aide was cut, and the more knowledgeble there would definetly harbour a grudge to the point of wanting to get away from damnable Imperial rule. There are sure to be scattered individuals throughout the Empire who resent it's obvious ideological cruelties and injustices - no matter how well the Empire hides them - and certainly, in the long history of takeovers and roleplays, a few groups, minorities, populations, planets, and so forth must spring to mind who would be most interested in getting out from under the heel of the Empire. Trachta said something about some sort of white-armband movement in Legacies, was that just for that roleplay or is it actually the case? And so forth.

Guys, that's like us asking which planetary population had morality conniptions over forcing their population to inject themselves with Panacea?

Like anything, are there those that hate putting machines into their bodies? Of course.

Just like there are oppressed people in the Empire. And you are correct. But we are not going to do your work for you.

Just like if we wanted to do a story about GC's Panacea, we'd do something small and build on it. Same with the oppression angle. Sure, some population centers resent the Empire but it's up to you to build the story. Don't just fly down to a planet and find throngs of protests and crap like that. No one is that stupid anymore. Nor do you suddenly spring upon a rebellion taking place.

The Empire is just as evil as it always has been but it's also better equipped, better organized and a better facade is in place than before.

But there is resentment there.

So rather than simply ask us where the resentment is, why don't you approach us about the story you want to do?

It should be noted that xenophobia is not as rampant as it once was since the Empire learned the hard way about cutting off viable sources of manpower. Now we accept all humanoids who can pay homage to the Emperor. Now the really big aliens like Ithullians, Talz, Ithorians...they might find acceptance hard to attain. other species such as Twilekki, Chiss, Trandoshans, Vortex, they are treated as regular Imperial citizens. When a nine armed bug eyed created comes to Coruscant it is less well received than a bipedal being that can wear a standard uniform.

Simply put - -if you can serve the Empire and not cause problems, well take you.

If you cannot fit into a warship with more than reasonable accomodation, prepare for oppression.
