About ten minutes ago I realized this character's thread in the TJO forum looking for me has been overlooked for the better part of 2 months because of a stupid assumption on my part. Anyways if this is your alias or you know whose it is, I am extremely sorry, I had no idea.... :|
Who is Mitz Drachus?
Haha, sorry. I should have told you that he wanted you. I wasn't role-playing that entire thread... Just the begining.
That has to be the ugliest picture I've seen of Carrie Fisher yet. Hard to believe that that actually came out of the movie.
Actually, I have plenty uglier. I think the main problem with that one is it's just creepy. I have been rotating between 3 avatars since forever, and have decided to see how far I can go.... :p
It looks fine...
but there are better ones...

Yeah, now that the trillogy is out on DVD, you can pop off a screen shot of anything, crop it, and blamo.
I do not have any software capable of doing such a thing. I take a screenshot, but when I copy it into a paint program it is nothing but a blank box. I've had the '97 SE on my comp all along so its not like having the dvd changes anything but the quality of the screenshot, but.... first I need a way to be able to take them.
What is really tempting tho, is switching my avatar to Carrie Fisher the nun from Jay and Silent Bob...... But the whole point of this avatar is to give off a more eerie impression, as something different than what you are used to seeing. so ok.

Leia, do this to take screenshots of running DVD's. I use WMP9 when I do this, since it runs best with hardware acceleration turned off.
Destkop > Rightclick > Properties > Settings > Advanced > Troubleshoot > Turn hardware acceleration down to none.
Now play the DVD, and take screenshots at will.

with my hardware acceleration at 0, the picture quality is too horrible to make a good screenshot, even though it works. hmmm....
I always found it funny that his first name is also one of my IRL nicknames.
