Expect intrusion. Old BHG holding, that. Can't just let these Imperial bastards think they can have everything they want.

Additionally...

The Journeymen had been in charge of Concord Dawn for over a thousand years. At this point, only the Head Journeyman and a few of his higher officers actually bore the rank, but the name had stuck with the security officials. All wore Mandalorian battle armor - in fact, it was from them that the Mandalorian armor had sprung - and to them the Head Journeyman was equal to Mandalore. Of course, the Mandalorians didn't see it that way. They saw their distant cousins as backwards and worse than useless in a fight. But that was because they had never fought them.

The least you could do, the very least, is to pay attention to the planets history here, at TRF.

One - Mandalore Pike was took possession of the planet which seems contrary to your statement that the Journeymen Protectors held sway uninterrupted for a thousand years.

Two - The Journeymen Protectors of whom you speak, unless someone has come along and written a change, still have some loyalty to Pike, and the Guild as a result of my previous work concerning Concord Dawn.

Three - Please refrain from speaking on how the Mandalorians "feel" about anyone. As a people and a culture I have been working with them alongside the Guild for neigh on five years now so let's please not just revert to Canon where convenience fits.

A - I respect you as a writer and have much adoration for the work you have done in the past and the work you continue to do. I am not trying to be a tryant here, simply addressing an issue as I see it.

B - If you're going to try and take Concord Dawn you probably want to be just as sure as I do that everything is done as best as it can and that the work of previous posters isn't run under.

C - I am more the willing to assist in whatever fashion while conversely I do have an intention of playing a part in your thread; whether or not the intention will be to oppose your attempt to claim the planet or not will have to be decided and declared In Character, no doubt.

Edit - Before I do anything, however; I'd like the chance to discuss things with you, perhaps over AIM? I should be around quite frequently over the next couple days and my contact information is the same as my screen name here. Let me know.

Going slightly beyond the scope of this thread, but addressed to any who may read it; when trying to do something with a planet or species, please make a small effort to find out how they fit into TRF canon. If you wanted to do something with a canon creation, say the Mandalorians, you are by no means obligated to search for and then read every single thread with the word mandolorian in it, but a quick search would reveal that "hey, this Beff Pike guy has done a lot of stuff with them", and from there it would have been easy to know who to talk to before you got in over your head. Stuff like the Sullustean Space Debacle, "Whoops, did I say Tholatin? I meant BOLATIN", and things like Kach Thorten taking over planets I already owned could be easily avoided if you put a little effort in to understand the galaxy you're playing in, before you try and radically change it to fit your grand designs.

TRF has a long history of writing, a deep canon, and a powerful search feature. These things can combine in ways you may not have thought of for fun AND profit.

Sorry Wes. Life.

Be on most of the day tomorrow, I shall.

We'll work something suitable.
