With the pending Imperial withdrawal from Bespin (I'm lazy, so it's pending), I'm planning to send a fleet to Pavo Prime. Not an attack, per say, but it does involve an (OOC assets) Imperial fleet and thus I believe it could be construed as an attack under the rules.
It's really more of the Empire showing up and saying "do this or we pound your planet into crap".
The rules make it illegal to try and take a planet that is already in the process of being taken by another group. Dolash is in the midst of "Operation: Missing Link", which takes place on Pavo Prime. I'm not certain whether it's an attack, or simply a roleplay (i.e. intel gathering or something of that nature). It does not, as far as I've read, involve OOC fleets or assets.
So, my question is this: am I allowed to launch an "attack" on the planet, utilizing OOC assets? And, if so, would said story better be played in a seperate thread, or within the thread already taking place? I would prefer, for obvious reasons, to do it in a seperate thread...
If Dolash wants to shed any light on Missing Link that might effect the decision, please do!
Anyway... yeah.
