Just when you thought you were rid of me. Muwhahaha. How are you all?

My story is complicated but I will be brief - I was deployed, I engaged the enemy, they were able to land a mortar round ever so close to my left thigh - just enough that I am now discharged from the military but not enough to render me helpless or decrepit.

And so, I am now returned to this country and its people and more importantly to this board and thecreatures that dwell hereupon.

For those hoping that I lost my aristocratic heritage in the fires of combat, I'm sorry - but no. I am the same man I was when I left. So huzzah!

You almost missed a whole war, Telan! Sadly, it's not with the Empire, so there wouldn't be much to do besides watch and commentate, but still, War is kinda your shtick.

Also, back up for a second - inbetween now and your last post, you were deployed, into some sort of warzone, fired at, fired in retaliation, where almost crippled, and sent home again...

There's got to be some stories in there! You seem in strangely high spirits and relatively unchanged mood, did everything turn out okay?
