I got bored, so I compiled this list of things you probably don't know about the Coalition.
10) Dolash is Regrad's nephew. Regrad is the Prime Minister of the New Coalition, and was guided to his position by the Force - which arranged, so that he could focus on his duties, for him to have no family, no loved ones, and no personal attachements. The only living relative Regrad has is his nephew Dolash, a Jedi Knight. Regrad has secretly guided his relative from afar, but has yet to make the relation known to him.
9) All of our secrets can be found inside Viryn's secretary. Miette is the Minister of Ethics' android secretary and longtime companion, and also contains a copy of everything that goes through Viryn's department - which is everything the Coalition does. Viryn is vaguely worried about this 'secret stash', but keeps it out of a sort of lingering paranoia he has against all governments, even the Coalition for which he works.
8) There are evil Azguards. When the Azguard Civil War happened hundreds of thousands of years ago, the Force itself divided the people in two so that they could complete the destiny assigned to them. The Furen are a corrupted version of the Azguards, enfused with the dark side of the force and far bulkier then their more wirey enemies. The Furen have dark gods of their own, which are manifestations of the Dark side of the Force, but what is not known is that both sets of gods are working towards the same prophecy. These evil Azguards share the same system with Azguard itself, but they remain cloistered in their fortress world, not daring to venture from it's boarders.
7) There is an evil Dolash. Dolash is a common name for Azguards - like John, or Smith. Before Regrad was made High Lord of Azguard and then the Prime Minister of the coalition, he served as the general for the Azguardian military under High Lord Dolash - a different Dolash then the Jedi one. That Dolash became corrupted by the dark side, and the Azguards held a bloodless coup to expose his evil and make Regrad their leader. In the end, this was fortunate, since it meant the Azguards had to maintain a low profile when the Empire was conquering the galaxy. Dolash then went missing, and his location is unknown.
6) Regrad hates Lupercus, a lot. Lupercus once used the Force to kill one of Regrad's officers while the two were conversing in a standoff over the planet Garos IV. Regrad has also heard that he was one of the bloodiest fighters at the battle of Corellia, and is more or less responsible for the Sith boarding actions that cost so many lives as well as - perhaps - the battle. As such, anyone who wanted to get on Regrad's good side might want to consider bringing him Lup's head *wink wink*.
5) We met once over Garos IV. Although the Empire didn't think much of it at the time, we did in fact first meet over Garos IV when they were trying to destroy some sort of mining company just as Azguard vessels had arrived to pick up a shipment they had bought. Not much happened, but it was the first official contact the two groups had.
4) The Prime Minister hears voices in his head. Regrad and his people have long followed the will of the Force so that they could be ready to face a moment of prophecy. As added insurance, Regrad is constantly mentally accompanied by a voice in his mind belonging to one of the 'Gods of Azguard', which is actually the force itself advising him. Those strong in the Force who focus on him would find that he himself is not strong in the force, but he still carries it with him and through him it's will is done.
3) The Coalition recently lost four hundred thousand soldiers. A massive relief force sent to Kiyar was completely wiped out by the Cree'Ar and hasn't been heard of since. The entire force, however, came from the secret area of Azguard space, and thus, no one but they know of the losses. Still, the cost - both mentally, spiritually, financially, and just plain really - cannot be measured. It is a blow their society is unlikely to recover from for a generation. No one blames Regrad for this, though, since to be fair, who could have predicted the Cree'Ar were going to show up out of nowhere and wreck the place?
2) A galactic arm is still untouchable. I've brought this up before, but still, it's pretty interesting to note that the galactic arm of Wildspace including the Azguard system is under a giant interdiction field - which is how the Coalition maintains it's secrecy. The field begins just 'south' of Loraire, and covers the entire arm, and it can only be opened by those ships possessing the correct codes. Fortunately, one of the key facts about Wild Space is that no one lives there, so this fact goes unnoticed.
1) There is a Prophecy. That whole Civil War wasn't just for fun. The Azguards are intristically tied into the fate of the galaxy, for in ancient times the Force began to shape them to serve as it's footsoldiers in the great conflict that would threaten to destroy the Force itself. This Prophecy, created and enacted by the Force alone, is believed to be nearing, and the Azguards are expected to play a key role fighting for whichever side the Force guides them to. The Azguards have long ago accepted this role - that was what the civil war was about - and have prepared to sacrifice their personal ambitions, desires, love, emotions, and eventually their lives for this cause, although at the same time are still dangerously open to manipulation.
