Someone told me (I can't remember who) that the Falleen have been chased off of... well... Falleen. Or something like that. Anyways, since the New Coalition is doing a lot of stuff these days, if this is true, it might be right up their alley. However, I couldn't find the Unions' takeover thread of the planet, and it would be easier to just be told exactly whats' going on there, because Falleen is a known world, and with the CIB collecting info any problems there would be noted.

Anyone know of the situation there?

The Falleen gotten severly hurt by an Imperial bio-weapon test on their planet during the height of the Empire. A lab on Falleen accidentally leaked a deadl bio-weapon, and Darth Vader decided to sterilize the area- by orbital bombardment. He killed a huge number of Falleen, and so the Falleen people became introverts, who stayed away from galactic politics. Most of them anyway. Those who had relatives killed, like Prince Xizor, had a big anti-Imperial bias. Most Falleen simply just want to be left alone.

So basically, they were never driven off Falleen.

I think we have a Falleen member in our group since hes heading Black Sun and the original leader of Black Sun was a Falleen.

There is a Falleen takover post- but it deals primarily with the formation of the Union- which begins a an alliance of Black Sun and the Jutraalian Syndicate. It is linked here: http://therebelfaction.com/forums/showthread.php?t=751

You must understand, the Union controls Falleen through Black Sun. Black Su is a criminal organization started by the Falleen, namely Prince Xizor. The newest leader of Black Sun is an NPC named Prince Gorma.

However, the Falleen planet is just Black Sun's home base. ICly, they have a government and populace who just ants to be left alone. The fact that some Falleen work for Black Sun is why we took the planet. Black Sun bases its operations their, because a content, isolationist populace provides a nice cover.
