The Union, for example. Right now, the Union is in quite a bit of trouble and might be about to take some serious hits. Would that be a part of the thread, or would it not happen?

What are you saying? That you have a goal of kicking the Union out of the TRF galaxy? Sure, IC they may take some hits but I do not think you are going to destroy them completely. Therefore, the Union will be around in 10 IC years.

Also, it appears their purpose is to aggravate TNO and GC so that not only are they going to go to war with BDE, but also each other. After that, what happens to them?

Did you not read the outline? The Union is being manipulated into causing TNO and GC to go to war with each other. BDE is behind it so the galaxy factions can fight among themselves and when they are weakened, BDE attacks.

When BDE attacks everyone, the war is sort of put on hold because Daemun technology begins to take huge chunks of their factions. But because of the war and differing ideologies, they still do not trust each other.

If I understand the battles in order of appearance, it'd start with BDE Civil War between the mechanical parts of the Empire and the rest of it, which the machines win.

ok. In part 1, BDE (their empire as a whole) sets out a long range plan to conquer the galaxy. The flesh part of their empire follows the religion set up by Daemun but it begins to turn them into servants of the Daemun to slaves of the Daemun until Part 2, the Daemun feel they no longer need their religious followers.

Daemun/machines win.

So now BDE still has this intent to conquer the galaxy, but now under a machine's perspective.

However, the machines are motivated through their contacts with the Cree Ar.

The Cree Ar also are determined to take the galaxy and like BDE, they want others to pave the way.

There is a pause, as the machines infiltrate TNO and GC with their machine craziness, in this time the Union gets us angry at each other. Then, just before we go to war, the machines go haywire and we have to join forces to fight the mechanical BDE.

sort of correct.

As we're fighting them, you deploy your secret clone armies into GC with the intent of wiping us out after we finish off BDE.

No, the clone armies in this instance are towards BDE, not GC. Though they were going to be used against GC when relations were breaking down.

The idea behind Kaine's trial is the war crimes committed by this leader through Project Insidion is brought to light either by Union or GC intelligence or whatever..

So they do not trust him but he can fight a battle so do the GC let him go to fight the new threat or do they keep him imprisoned?

Do they expect to take him back when the war is over?

There are gaps because there are no details. What I have painted is the general overview and by no means represents a finished outline.. My mind is still working but I wanted to get this down.

I actually like the idea better, because seeing as when it was planned to start (end of June/early July) I wouldn't have had time to participate in the beginning anyway.

So we've changed the focus from TNO vs. GC idea and are now BDE vs. everybody else? *shrugs* Works for me.

But yes, we need more details to see how these events web together. Right now, the events aren't quite meshing as well as they should. Maybe once we get into the RP, we can make the events go together but in an outline it all feels a bit awkward.

Dolash, Dolash, Dolash.

The Union is much more than the GLF.

And unless you kill every member of the Union's "committee", then the Union will survive.

You might destroy a part of the Union. You might destroy multiple parts. But I seriously doubt you totally destroy them.

Anyway, the whole idea looks awesome Simon. Bravo.

I havent read everyone else's posts, but the Messiah part intrests me. If it isnt already taken I would like to play it. I havent yet decided on anything IC for this character except that he is at some point going to lose his mind and go Rogue from the Jedi, this could be a good turning point. I think it would fit in well, unless of course this figure wil be killed in his defeat; then I would have to re-think it.
