I've not been keeping up with recent threads beyond my own, so I'd be no good at voting for them, but it appears we've had the same ones up for some time. How about a new showcase?

Go read some and post a vote then.

Ignore what I said...

I don't usually vote for myself unless someone else nominates it, cause it seems to me to be rather self-serving and ridiculous.

But today I'm going to completely contradict that and nominate myself anyway. :P

All of you know that I am, when it comes down to it, very lazy with regards to writing. Lately, it seems, I've been motivated (for one reason or another), and I have to say I am quite pleased with my most recent effort.

And with this in mind, even though it's probably trash, I hearby nominate my own RP: The living and the dead

I've also quite enjoyed Chaos Theory: The Grain Offerings, having finally taken the time to catch up. But I seem to recall it being on the Showcase already (?). Nonetheless, if not a nomination it certainly deserves a nod.

Another RP I feel deserves a nomination is Restoration: Speak quietly and carry a big ship. In particular, I find this very amusing:

"...Between Joren Logan, Jan Dondana, and Marth Meer, you'd think there'd be enough incompetance in the Coalition Military that enemies wouldn't attack you simply to see if you'd kill yourselves on accident."

"Oh come now, Mr. Quell. That's a bit of an exa-"

"Corellia."

I must admit I haven't finished reading this RP, but it shows a lot of promise and I've quite enjoyed it thus far. So a definate nod to Dolash (I'm mid way through Trajan's post, so a preemptive nod to him and Joren as well).

These are the only RPs I am well-read enough to be able to speak of, though I am certain that there are many fine examples in the battlegrounds at this moment. I look forward to reading what others nominate as well.

Best of luck (if you believe in that sort of thing) to all involved, and good writing!

We should do another showcase.

I vote for restoration. After all, I am a member of the NGC.

hey, hey... Kudo's for staying 'in character'.

I could imagine Theren posting roughly the same thing as Mr Quell as well.

I would like to nominate "Operation Large and In Charge"

A very good TJO RP, if I may say.

Operation Large and In Charge, for the parts of it that I've read, is definately good.

Restoration: Speak quietly and carry a big ship is also good. And those are about all that I've read lately.

Operation Large and In Charge is good.

The Living and the Dead gets a nod as does Logan's Ashes of Eden: Road to Eternity.

I also like Estro's Infinite Entropy and Trazu's Unwelcome Visitor.
