Ruling concerning reinforcements.

There are reinforcement rules coming out with the next rule revision, which is on its way, I swear. We just keep coming up with little changes and new ideas, and we're also a bunch of procrastinators... ;)

In lieu of the new rules I'm making a ruling concerning reinforcements, and the getting thereof.

No one is allowed to circumvent the In Character timeline. If you want to send reinforcements from one side of the galaxy to the other be aware that it will take weeks for them to arrive. Unless the planet that is sending reinforcements is kissing the planet receiving them there is no possible way reinforcements will arrive in 2 posts. Use common sense, and what little canon information(link) we have to make a rough guestemate on how long it will take.

Circumventing the IC timeline is not allowed, period. If a battle has advanced but twenty minutes, your reinforcements are but twenty minutes into their journey to arrive.

Suddenly the strength of the attacker in the TRF universe has raised three-fold.

All they have to do now is send a tiny fleet, wait five minutes, then send a giant fleet. The tiny fleet arrives first, the defenders have to state what they will defend the planet with, which will probably exceed the attacker's forces slightly, then the huge fleet arrives and the defenders are slaughtered, the planet lost.

That's not new. Thats what I did at Esseless against DMC & MCR. Only MCR helped me by jumping through an abolisher field, then charging me.

For the Esseles thing I still say that I mentioned jumping to the edge of the field(therefor still in the safe area), and then charged you, so I never actually jumped into the field.

Except the staff ruled you jumped through it, as you had no idea it was there, and in essence god-moded.
