Be glad you get that. I labor on Tales under the assumption that absolutely no one is even reading what I write, except for whoever I'm writing with (maybe two people at any given moment). Since I'm too vain to give someone a link.

What is the purpose of writing, if no one is there to see your work?

Other than killing some time, that is.

To make oneself a better writer.

(This is a non-to-subtle message to keep writing Cracker)

Ah, but that I am. The only question is, how do I ween myself away from fleet-oriented RPs and into regular RPs?

How about not writing fleet rps?

Well Duh but because I've written so many Fleet RPs I'm having a difficult time converting to regular RPs.

Write an rp minus the ships. . .

And I'm the opposite. I have a hard time writing fleet RP's, but find regular RP's fairly easy to churn out.

I'm kind of like Kraken in that sense, most of my experience has been fleet RPs, or takeovers involving me attacking some kind of fleet, either mercenary, pirate or a planet's defense force.

I'm always suprised when people mention that they read or liked some of the stuff I've done. This is probably because I can't find the time to do much reading of any kind these days, so I rairly read anything in the BG beyodn what concerns either me or VC.

I've been in only a few fleet RP's. One was with a friend, and was loads of fun to write since we would both be on AIM and hash out issues, make suggestions, and in general, just have fun. The other few seem to disolve into fights. I prefer doing character writing with what small time I have.
