I'm not speaking for the Force Council here, but I'd just like to note that the issue is being discussed by the parties in question and will be adressed accordingly. I'm sure our opinions and views are all welcome, but it should be remembered that the Force Council has the final word.

On that note...

I will flatly state that Tir Esias is by no means a traditional force user.

What is a traditional force user? Exactly.

The Ranks bestowed by the Force Council are 'Out Of Character' recognitions of a characters 'In Character' achievements. All the colorful titles and descriptions are left in the hands of the writer himself or herself. In my humble opinion you can be a Blue Bobble Head trained in the style of the Leprechaun People...

Padawan (Learner) - Basic rank open, more or less, to anyone.
Knight - You're not a total Moron, you've been around long enough that 'the community' trusts you won't run around proclaiming SithMasterJediUber1337 roxorz!
Master - You're a veteran. People respect you. When you tell people to fuck off, they do.

Well, it shouldn't be based on how long someone has been here, but rather the quality of their writing, IMO.

So , in that regard Tir is more than ready IMO.

Time is completely irrelevant anyway.

A bit like my opinion actually... ;)

I do have one query though, Vodo is training evil terrorists???

This a new Jedi approach?

It is my contention that the two are not entirely seperate from one another, Seth. But I do agree, in theory. There are those who I'd vouch for, some of whom have logged less time at TRF then some of those other 'veteran' members without Force Using characters of their own. Naturally I'll opt not to name names; lest we should have a rask of requested promotions without foundation.

As stated, the Force Council is discussing.

Tir: You've made your request; if we require more information, or more proof of your abilities as a writer/forcer, then we'll ask. ;) No need to keep adding to the list right now.

Congratulations, the Force Council has approved your request!

<!--[if !supportLineBreakNewLine]-->
<!--[endif]-->Now that your request has been approved, you are free to complete your character's development to the power equivalent of Knight at your leisure.

When your character has developed the full equivalent of Knight and is considered to be as powerful as any other Knight in the TRF universe, please make a post in the Active Force Users thread notifying us that your ascension to Knight has been completed. Also supply a link to the thread in which your character has been officially recognized as a full Knight equivalent for the first time. Whether the character decides this on their own or someone else announces it, that's up to you. We're just looking for the IC recognition that your character has Knight equivalent powers from that point on.

When you have done this, I will change your official OOC standing to "Knight" in the active Force Users list. Until that time, your official OOC standing is still "Apprentice." So even if your character is at a point where he/she is more powerful than an Apprentice, yet not fully as strong as a Knight... you are still considered an Apprentice.

<o></o><o></o>Two important points to remember about Force Ranks:

-A character may never go beyond the limits of their rank until they have permission from the Force Council to move on to the next higher rank.

-A character will not be recognized as a rank OOC until their IC level of power is equal to that rank.
