Starting this Sunday I will be out of town for a week, going on a church-related volunteer trip to Slidell Louisiana to assist with Habitat to set up houses.

Have fun. We'd give you a plaque, or something, but Ahnk ate the last one.

How about just a "thank you", then?

I'm sure I have some lint somewhere that could be braided into a sash...

But really, good job. Have fun.

Well, it was going well for a while. We made some progress monday, and had gone well, until we got news that we would have to dis-assemble most of what we assembled so that they could film the actual Habitat employees putting up the work on the today show featuring George W on Tuesday morning to make it look like they were making rapid progress *Rants and Rants*.

Tuesday was a lot better when we got there, got rapid construction done, but I didn't take good care of myself, so focused I was on getting the insulation boards all nailed up in the sweltering sun. I dehydrated myself, got a severe sunburn, and pulled muscles in both my hands and feet from hammering and doing all sorts of weird stances. Was showering when I got the news that my Grandpa passed away unexpectedly, so I came home in a rush and won't be online for several more days. Pray for my Gramps please. :(

Heh.

But you did it for a good thing. Hope that sunburn gets better; they can be horrible.

Sorry to hear that, Kraken. :(
