Pardon me, I know its not my place, and Im not in the thread so my opinion doesnt count, but...

Ok. Assuming it took three minutes to calculate and execute the jump, another minute to turn about and manuver, and that leaves one minute worth of firing. Mind if I edit my post now to reflect this?

Wouldnt that then equivalate to 3 posts for the jump, 1 post of turning and maneuvering and then the last firing. Since a single RP battle post typically covers a roof of one minute per post?

Yes, you could make a jump that way. Just watch the timeline though, it will take time to calculate such a manouver.

Actually, Heir, the typical post covers five, not one, minute.

I'm not involved in this thread either, but I was mentioned.

People have micro-jumped in one post before(points at my post at Ando, and Trachta's first post in Corellia), but it is usually used to get your fleet into the battle, or go towards the enemy fleet. I have never heard of someone jumping through a fleet, though it is probably possible.

In canon, hyperspace jumps have been meantioned as tricky, especially concerning mass jumps of numerous ships, or just frequently jumping ships around to hide your numbers, and in at least one instance, a mistimed hyperspace jump caused the collision of two new Republic frigates(It might not have been frigates but I think it was).

It was Frigates, the Endor, and Shooting Star.

Kraken, I think you 'other' edit, about the Dialamalns happily accepting Imperial rule seems not only unrealistic but alos a bit contradictory to already established Rp.

The Dialmans were very anti-Imperial (and according to TRF, members of the 'New Empire') which means they would not peacably accept Imperial rule.

Secondly, i have already Rped for the purpose of my intervention, the Diamalans in negotatations with DA (read my first post in that thread) so it is unlikey a prime minister is goign to suddenly come out and say they'll support the Empire.

I do however thank you for your other edit and will post today.

Ah, but in my interlude, I said that the Diamalans had the same conversation as the Ishori, where I said that they may talk with other goverments, and see what they had to offer, but that they are not to make any concessions.

And remember, the Diamalans want two things: Peace, and Protection. Their current military is capable of protection, but not of peace, therefore they will not do, with it being in their blood that they want to go to war witht the Ishori, their rivals. The Empire will replace their military with with it's own, and it will let the Diamalans live a free, and happy life, providing both peace, and protection. By the same token, the Ishori want, and need the same thing, hence the simultaneous takeovers, so that one may not attack the other one in the weakened state that for a short time immeditaly follows a military campaign such as this one.

Ummm, Cortex, I edited my last post to where I did not engage you at all. Make sure that you edit to reflect that.

O.... i am sorry I must have misread your post- I thought you were engaging the RSD. I will edit immediatly.

Also, a small noted from the other tread- Please remove your reference to the Bothans. I would to like to state that their is no IC connection currently (at least not on that is detectable) and therefore it is assumed DA is its own independant organization.

that that is in there is because of the Kaloth Battlecruisers you used in your fleet. It was part of trying to identify the fleet coming against me, and wasn't meant to imply a link between said group, and bothans, just trying to discern whether or not said fleet was bothan.
