Why should the rule be changed? You would need 2 posts to do the same no matter your method of travel.
It's a fleet rule for fleet combat. Nothing to do with storyline or realism.

It says jumping to hyperspace from the scene of combat needs to be done over 2 posts.
Since several groups are phasing out hyperspace, then they could get around the rule. It's a loophole.

They'll need to do it in 2 posts as well. It's all the same thing.

It's not how it reads, though. :)

Well, if you play the "letter of the law" game then, yes, I concede the rules will always be lacking. Especially with new sciences being developed.
Therefore, I subscribe to the "spirit of the law" in applying rules.
But for those that cannot, then Gue's rewriting does work.

For the record Ahnk I argued against you finding a specific GC sign for biohazardous material, because I felt we would just use a galactic standard one. And yes I argued about it at the time when you originally posted it, because I didn't want you to try something similar to what I think you have planned. But I'll let it go, since without it I doubt you would have even joined this thread, and there is not point in wasting your work and time, along with everybody elses. And I think I can convince TNO that it wasn't GC behind the attack.

I told you that regardless of your choice of symbol (galactic standard or custom), it would be different from mine. And as I remembered, this arguement made sense to you and you dropped the issue.

True it would be different then yours, but what I be sure to realize that since I use galactic standard signs, the signs won't identify the ships as belonging to GC. And I guess I forgot that part of the argument. Much apologies.

Errrr.... they have Coalition registries, which identify them as GC ships.
