O-kay, still waiting on a few people...

Hey.

I've been a tad busy the last couple of days and have thus not really been motivated to bring this up, but now I'm starting to think that I should.

With 'Hard Truths' (A misnomer, considering there is nothing but cryptic riddles throughout the whole story!) finished, I'd like to press on and make the kickass speech that will set up the visionary series, not to mention start the visionary series. There are some things (and some people) who are kind of holding me up a little.

Most notably and mainly is Drayson. He also happens to be a viscous font for pure, unadulterated evil that pools into a liquid and drowns orphans, but that's besides the point. The point being that his attack on Tholotia - whoops, I mean Bimmisari - and his continued delaying of the Roche takeover are not just causing trouble in character, they're really screwing me up out-of-character since I don't know if/how these threads will affect the involved characters and places. Honestly, how long has it been since he's posted in either thread? It feels like a significant amount of time, let me tell you. Significant. As in lots.

Telan is just a tiny bit, although not too much - I've already caused more trouble then I meant to over your Rattatak thread, and I know you want to keep your hand secret for now, but a bit of a nod telling me wether it'll have galaxy-spanning reprecusions or at least an indicator of how important it'll be would help. I can do the speech with your thread not yet finished, but a little direction as to it's outcome beforehand would keep me from making any faux-pas.

Beyond them there's little else I'm waiting for - on the contrary, I'm eager to get rolling! My mind is a swirling medley of concepts and half-formed ideas that could at any moment collide and react to form wondrous stories never before seen. Once the circumstances are a-okay, I'll be able to start on that. It takes a lot of work for swirling medleys, let me tell you. The various takeovers and threads and so forth are fine, they probably won't affect the speech unless there's some sort of large military reprecussion in the situation.

Anyways, just wanted to put that out there. Hopefully things will be moving swiftly. If anyone wants to know more about what I'm planning, or wants to help out, that'd be great - just drop me a line. Drayson, if we can, I'd also like to talk to you about a wicked-cool story idea I had that is both wicked and cool. Omnae, I always enjoy talking with you (or as is more often the case, talking at you) but some of the particulars of these stories you might be interested in. Ahnk, I know how you don't like being left out, so I'd be glad to talk to you too. About... I dunno, the weather or something. Or my impending attack on Kiyar. Whatever we feel like.

That is all.

How much longer do I have to not post to drive you into a state of madness enough that you'll lash out and do something stupid, thus bringing about your own demise?

I'll post eventually. I've had vastly more important things on my mind than TRF of late. Would it damage your new storyline to move the events of our two threads to (IC) after your story takes place?

Well, it wouldn't be too damaging, but to be honest the fact that they have happened does enhance the speech somewhat - it lets me talk about rising tensions and Imperial aggression. I've already got the Tynna attack to talk about, plus Dubrillion, not to mention Thispias and Rattatak, but a few direct assaults always make good conversation pieces.

Another solution beyond us waiting still longer for you to post could be you just conceding these battles to retreat for now and striking again when you have more time available - it's not like you'd lose anything, considering both were attacks on things you didn't own, and it'd maintain continuity well without us all having to wait on it.

That's not an option for Roche, given the nature of the thread.

I admit, it's a highly strategic point for you and I respect your desire to turn it into Star Wars's Verdun, but you could extricate yourself from that situation simply by turning around and flying out - I could agree that IC there will be no blockading of Imperial supply routes or any such thing, at least until you have enough time free to be able to do something about it.

Also, don't forget you're not the whole Empire, so perhaps someone could sub in. I'd rather face down the full strategic fury of Omnae on a good day when he's had a breakfast of fish than wait another month or two for resolution.
