It has come to the attention of the Staff that superfluous Planetary Take-Over’s have become all too common an occurrence. To that end; this announcement:

1. The Staff will not support excessive single-thread Planetary Take-Over actions. i.e. "this thread will be a take-over for the following fifteen planets"

1a. There will always be special exceptions, but they will be just that, exceptions.

2a. The Staff will support single planet Take-Over threads over Multi-Planet Take-Over threads unless it falls under 1a. The Staff will not reverse another Planetary Take-Over just because it was on your extraneous list of planets. The Staff will not retroactively nullify a Planetary Take-Over completed before your rigorous epic.

The Staff have implemented these measures for two very obvious reasons. First of all, the Galaxy is getting crowded and there is only a finite number of Canon/EU planets left unclaimed. Second, it is unfair to go on a wild planetary rampage just for the sake of the rampage; we would much sooner see you devote your incredible ambition towards, for example, creating new and diverse planets and so on.

It just gets a little silly when new members have to hunt through pages and pages of material to find unclaimed planets to... claim. And not everyone has the skill or ambition to craft a hundred thousand word story... if you do, kudos; just use it well and don't squander it.

So, to clarify; if you do plan an epic adventure to claim a ridiculous number of planets, particularly of the Canon/EU sort, clear it with the staff and inform ALL other members in the appropriate forum. Everything else is boogers.

Thank you.
