...so the enemy could have easily held us off there like at Thermopylae.

Since the activities in the TRF Universe (and really the Star Wars Universe in general) take place "a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away" and forgetting the fact that you seem to suggest that Kach Thorton knows about the actions of soldiers in a primitive society in a galaxy far, far away while not knowing anything about the Cree'Ar activities in galaxies much closer, there is no way Kach Thorton would have known about said primitive actions since they had not happened yet.

Heh. If you'll finish the quote, you'll see I reused the name on a SW galaxy event comparable to the old one. I made the event up, but I wanted a comparable event to Thermopylae to describe the corridor.

...like at Thermopylae,” Kach said, calling up the case where a small Tion fleet had held off a much larger fleet belonging to Xim the Despot at the narrow entrance to an asteroid field for several days.

I'll have a post for you tomorrow morning on Muunilinst.
