This the final inception though I am leaving alot of space for any other side plots to be included. I am going to try to keep this as simple as I can (as I do tend to get overly complicated in my descriptions).

Legacies: Alpha ex Omega - The Beginning of the End

The funeral of Gash Jiren

The Jedi/Rogue Jedi Orders: The funeral of one of their fallen brethren sends shockwaves through their ranks. The great Jedi (albeit Rogue) has passed and with the growing uncertainty of Imperial domination of the Galaxy, there are some in the Order that begin to question their purpose.

For what do they fight if evil is so overwhelmingly powerful?

The Galactic Coalition: The last beacon of hope in a galaxy drowning in darkness. The death of Gash Jiren is like another nail rammed into the coffin of everything everyone holds good and just.

Cree'Ar: The Great Plan is laid out for the conquest of the galaxy. The only threat they recognize is the Dragon Empire and their Daemun. A Cree Ar, Zeratul, comes up with a plan to neutralize the Dragons by integrating the machina of the Daemun BDE into the Cree Ar nexus thus making them unstoppable. Convincing the machina of the nexus of their own superiority over flesh would result in a Dragon Civil War.

BDE: Relatively at peace having withdrawn into their borders. Moving ever forward in their drive to reach ultimate perfection it is noted that Phage begins to take on strange properties and is mutating. The exact nature of this mutation is unknown but not considered a threat.

The Empire: The Great Jedi is dead! The Emperor holds a feast and toasts the end of the Jedi. The Sith Order is in attendance in a rare show of solidarity of purpose and will. Simon Kaine silently toasts the one man who defeated him and considers the irony of outliving him. In the secret corners of power, those in the Empire continue their plotting and the final destruction of the Galactic Coalition is planned out and the final phase of Galactic Domination.

Other Factions/Members: This is to factions not listed or even singular characters that are not in any TRF faction. Whether you knew Gash Jiren the character or not, you are welcome to post. Perhaps just post what your character is hoping to accomplish or what their goals are. Set it up because the story will jump 10 years.

Roleplay: Basically, when you post, first: put the organization you are posting for and the location of the characters in question. This first part is basically a retelling of just where our characters are right now in the grand scheme of things. If there is a plot you would like to carry over through the time period here, perhaps this would be the thread to start it.

Conversations, philosophical meanderings on the meaning of their life or incidents happening at the time of your character would be also inserted here. Small stories can play out here.

In this part, all character arcs, plots and stories will revolve around the funeral itself.

Whether the galaxy is bleak for some or hopeful to others, we move forward 10 years and we come too the undiscovered country. The unknown that always befalls our dreams and goals.

The stage is set for:

Legacies: Deus Ex Machina - Rise of the Machines

Future Imperfect

BDE:The Phage mutation has caused some among the Daemun to 'see' things in a different light. Not necessarily an abandonment of the will of their mighty Taj but differing views in carrying out that will. This causes a Great Debate to erupt in the Overmind as the minds of billions dead living in the Daemun cyberworld quarrel over the status of those in the Imperium existing out of the Daemun Society. The 'flesh' calling themselves Dragon.

This is where our BDE character histories and lives are fleshed out amid the the war between flesh and machine.

It is a war that takes place without the rest of the Galaxy really knowing (except the Cree Ar).

The Sith Order: There is a growing resentment regarding the lack of recognition and disdain the Imperial Military seems to have with them (ie: The Sith are merely a tool to an end). The Emperor's Hands are sent to investigate the Supreme Commander but sent, not by the Emperor, but by the Lord of the Sith, Vance Jas. Lupercus Darksword is 5 years dead in an event that the Sith believe perpetrated by the Empire but there is no proof. Hence the uneasy alliance. Trouble is brewing.

The Galactic Coalition: The Coalition Capital of Mon Calamari is in the throws of a massive ecological disaster as the proliferation of Red Tide is killing just about all forms of sea life. The cause is perhaps considered a natural event though no one really can find the cause. Massive evacuation measures are drafted.

Massive unrest is happening in many parts of the Coalition and it seems to be a natural part of politics that no one really sees the pattern.

the Coalition will feel like it is getting hit at all different sides and that everything is falling apart.

Basically, during some big speech an alien will make his way (beaten up, tired, near death, whatever) into the midst of them and before dying whisper one word: Insidion

Meanwhile, back in the Empire, Kaine is alerted to the escape of a prisoner that could give out the details of his entire plan. Thinking the prisoner was taken in by GC, he decides to activate the final phase of Project Insidion.

You see, during this time, alien clones (sleeper cells) have been living inside the Coalition along pyschologically preprogrammed routines. Needless to say, it is a time of civil unrest within the Coalition as the office of Prime Minister is up for election. A "relative" of Kamon Vondiranach (Sevren Vondiranach [just made the name up]) has been living in the Coalition and boasts a large Tholatin following (living in hiding from Dragon spies). He is making a bid for the Prime Minister spot.

Azguardia is home to civil unrest as portions of the population begin to have visions from "God" that they are to be masters of the universe. One Azguard begins to stand out as some "Messiah" figure.

I liked the idea of an Azguard Messiah figure and perhaps promoting evolutionary racism in reverse. Amid growing panic in the war, perhaps gaining more supporters than he should. Not sure where this plotline would go but Azguard theology would be interesting diversion.

And just as it seems things couldn't get worse, the Empire attacks along the border regions of the Coalition set on conquering it.

The Coalition begins to totter amid all these pressures and is a string drawn tight and ready to snap.

The Empire: The culmination of a decade long plan has come to fruition. Using a plan called, Insidion, Kaine is able to insert cells and insurrectionist into the Coalition to sow discord. The Military brilliance of the Empire's commanders are displayed in the opening rounds as the Coalition begins to totter. The border systems between Imperial Space and Coalition space are overrun. However, the Empire stops isolating those worlds captured drawing a ring around these worlds with their massive fleets. Some forces continue to push on but in testing the waters (as it were) and not in conquest. No one knows what is happening on these captured worlds.

The Jedi/Rogue Jedi Order: The nature of this new war is baffling to the Jedi and as is the insurrectionist attitudes in the Coalition. Jedi are dispatched to deal with the Azguardian Zionist and probably fails there. They also are dispatched to gather information on this Vondiranach that seems to have sprung up from nowhere and has gathered a large following. Finally, the questions regarding the captured worlds prompt some Jedi to break through to see first hand. Perhaps some Jedi are caught up in the war and fighting as well.

Cree'Ar: The Cree Ar are forwarding their conquest but more focussed on the BDE civil war between flesh and Daemun. It's like the Taj becomes a figurehead for all sorts of acts and rationalizations while his subjects spread destruction throughout the cluster and the Imperium. It is here that the Cree Ar take a more active role in aiding the machina in destroying their flesh parts and begin to relate the similarities to the defeated, flesh of their Imperium and the rest of the galaxy. The machina formulates their manifest destiny (for the glory of the Taj) and rearms their borders, which have been neglected in the war between the Empire and Coalition. The Cree Ar begin to plan overrunning the planets wiped clean by the machina by installing hyperportals on the worlds ravaged by the machina. All worlds except Dameo.

Other groups/characters: Any side you want to take part in and any event taking place you wish to be a part of is open.

Roleplay: This will be turn based but at first there will be no order as we establish our characters 10 years older. Perhaps have some fun in that but as events begin to move forward players are free to take the events and make them theirs. I just ask you follow the general outline and I leave the details to you.

Personally, I was going to play the Zionist and Vondiranach because I had an idea about what I would do with them. However, if there is any character you wish to play, I don't mind. We'll talk over AIM over it or in a thread here in the OOC forum.

Legacies: Apocalyptic Visions - End of Days

Blood, Iron and Silicone

The Empire: Kaine renews the Empire's attacks on several more worlds and the pressure is just too much. The Onyxian Province is holding their own but little else and with the entire Coalition breaking apart in the infighting. The Coalition fleet regroups near Onyx for what is amounting to a final battle. The soldiers are drawn, disheartened and demoralized by the citizens at home. Should they be fighting? etc.. Military scouts come across evidence of a massive army hidden in the Unknown Regions, ala Insidion.

The Jedi/Rogue Jedi Order: They are still playing out their experiences if they are in fights but those that went to the sealed off worlds are return with a horror story for Regrad, who is rapidly losing his political power to Vondiranach clone and Azguard Messiah.

The Galactic Coalition: The Empire was lining up people labeled as insurrectionists and shot on site. Prison/extermination camps were set up. The task is to absolutely grind the Coalition to dust. The Coalition White Knights and CIB meet with Regrad and inform him of more bad news.

And so, amid all of this, the aging master politician, Regrad makes the decision to surrender the Coalition to the shock of the Jedi and Onyxian Province.

The Empire's fleets overhead bring down their soldiers and the welcome the cells planted and the Azguard Zionist and the Vondiranach clone is short lived. The Empire shoots in the crowds and establishes their lordship through fear. The clones created through insidion are of no more importance to Kaine and the Empire than dogs. The Zionist is killed.

Regrad, the Empire having not reached Azguardia yet, makes a general broadcast outlying Kaine's successful plot to kill Lupercus and use the Sith to his own ends. How he used them in the Endgame operation as fodder against the Jedi forwarding his own ambitions. He offers proof. His other revelation is the Jedi news of the massacres of the Coalition border worlds.

The Sith Order: The Jedi Corps is used to watch the Sith and it is the wrong move for the Sith revolt and begin to spread their terror in the Core from Corellia to Coruscant. Lord of the Sith Vance Jas makes a move to supplant Emperor Hyfe and discord erupts throughout the Empire as the fleets are recalled to bring down the Sith and protect the Emperor. Regrad effects the withdrawal of the Empire without firing a shot.

BDE: While the Empire is reeling from the broadcast from Regrad, the Daemun Machina simultaneously strikes at the galaxy, focussing more on the Empire. The machines cross the borderlands smashing anything and everything. They strike a bloody path all the way to Yaga Minor effectively gutting the Imperial fleet (due to the total surpise). Almost all of the Empire's military leaders fall with their fleet except for the most brilliant few. Draconnis anti-flesh agenda is brought to the fore totally ignoring the Cree Ar thinking of them as some sort of kin.

Cree Ar: The mistake is fatal as the Cree Ar make their move and within days, the fractured BDE is subjugated into the Dominion Nexus. The Dracconis machina fleets, now under Cree Ar control continue their plunge into Imperial Space as the Cree Ar fleets turn to the remaining bastion of BDE power, Dameo.

Kal Shora is sent to take Esfandia from the Coalition.

The Dominion Warfleet, anchored beyond by the entirety of the BDE fleet and The Artanis, stand poised to end the Damuen’s forever. The Damuen’s anchor what they have left in the sky, and the tek’a’tera that find themselves on the surface face no resistance. Heir Raktus sits, inert, on a throne in the middle of the vast, empty terrain of Dameo. As the tek’a’tera begin to convert him, his mystery is projected into the nexus.

Instantly, the tek’a’tara stop, and turn upon their masters. The converted Damuen machina do the same. Such is the power of Raktus. Turned on by his own servants, Artanis is killed, and when the warship that bears his name turns towards the Cree’Ar, Kal Shora has the Parrow Lin destroy it.

In this confusion, the Coalition forces under Joren Arden strike at machine forces.

Control of the machina fleets (as well as most Cree Ar fleets) is taken by a angry Taj.

At this point the Cree’Ar have learned that their homeworld is under attack. The mystery of Heir Raktus has taken hold of the entire Dominion, and their homeland now lies in ruin, savagely violated by the cyborgs of the Dominion. The Damuen’s cull more warships from the Cree’Ar homeland, making their victory all but assured.

With their entire Domine in jeopardy, Kal Shora makes the decision that he must prevent this course of action. He sends what commanders he has left to fight.

In the battle with the Coalition at Nirauan, Shran Badaar commits suicide rather then surrender. His forces ultimately lose.

In the battle with the Damuen’s at Junction, Zeratul has no chance. He is converted into a cybernetic slave and turns against his own people.

Surprise by the Taj's resourceful counter-attack achieved, the Cree Ar were not prepared for the viciousness of the attack. Their remaining forces having lost their momentum and many of their numbers gather to strike at Dameo in hopes of drawing the machines from what remains of their nexus back to Dameo to protect their precious Taj.

Legacies: Resurrected Ideals - New Heavens

The Fall of Simon Kaine

The Cree Ar: Their Plan in tatters they exact their vengence upon Dameo threatening the very existence of the Overmind. They are taking great losses but Dameo is cracking.

BDE: The machina, their Taj in danger, pull out of the worlds (mostly Imperial) they conquered and race to Dameo.

The Empire: Simon Kaine having his fleet battered forces his fleet to follow the retreating machina destroying as many as he can. Bhindi or other surviving leaders work their way back to Coruscant as the Empire is fracturing apart with the loss of most of the fleet. Emperor Hyfe and Vance Jas have an uber badass lightsaber fight. Alone Vance cannot take him. With the Sith Order, Hyfe cannot defeat Vance (as his fellow Knights are with him). The remaining tattered remains of the fleet return (either to Coruscant or to their Protectorate capitals). Many planets revolt from it and with no longer any large military force they leave unopposed (for now).

The Galactic Coalition: Regrad addresses the Coalition regarding the fact that freedoms are not given to people but the people have to want it. The Surrender of the Coalition was a slap in the face to it's citizens to wake up and realize what they endanger when they undermine the very government set up to protect their freedoms and liberties. The Onyxian Province and the Fleet returns. Sevren Vondiranach his eyes opened to the position of pawn he played by Kaine, pledges loyalty to the Coalition and the Coalition is secure once more.

At the end, Regrad & Co. addresses the Empire slating how their state of affairs was brought out by the ambitions of one man, Simon Kaine. It was he who undermined the Emperor by almost claiming the throne (in Apparitions). It was he who used the Sith (in Endgame) for his own means and set up the Jedi Corps to keep everyone in line (Apparitions). And his project Insidion (as gathered from evidence by Logan and Co in the Unknown Regions and from accounts by Sevren Vondiranach) the main purpose of Insidion was the creation of an alien army of clones set to follow the orders of Kaine.

With such internal and external power, Simon Kaine is poised to wipe the game board clean and set himself up as the ultimate authority and power in the Galaxy unless something is done.

Simon Kaine: Arrives at Dameo and engages the machina with the Cree Ar. It is an uneven match as the last of the Cree Ar forces are being destroyed. The arrival of Kaine resets the balance but the Taj is resourceful.

Kal Shora, one of the very few remaining true Cree Ar is alive, alone, and desperate sets in motion an equally desperate plan. A plan regarding the manipulation of time. Kaine and Kal Shora speak, Kaine understanding the implications of the Cree Ar time technology. Kaine is shown the past (through their manipulation of time stream; in their tech) as it really happened (not as he remembers it). He is shown how his misinterpreted the execution of his mother, of why his father really joined the Rebellion and how his father and mother planned to leave the Empire. How he was maneuvered into destroying his father. In how is association with the Empire destroyed everything he ever loved.

Simon Kaine fails in pursuading Kal Shora to abandon his plan and is unable to stop the Cree Ar. Knowing that he will die either way, Kal Shora sends himself back into the past to change the Cree’Ar history. There, he delivers his message to Zeratul and dies from radiation poisoning.

The BDE is seemingly destroyed by the act and Kaine's own plans are turned to ash.

An anger rages in Kaine and he reflects on the possibilities to activate his hidden armies to conquer the Empire. He reflects on the elements within the Empire that might be loyal to him but he does not trust what the Cree Ar has done.

A message left behind by Kal Shora tells him his answers can be found in an out of the way system of Algeron.

Kaine leaves for the system with the remnants of his fleet.

Mysteriously, word is sent to Regrad (who forwards to TNO) that Kaine is headed to the Algeron System.

They all are there to exact their revenge as Kaine's fleet is ambushed and nearly obliterated. The Galactus makes a blind jump towards a sun and is considered lost.

Simon Kaine is no more.

Legacies: What You Leave Behind...

Epilogue

The Galactic Coalition: A Celebration occurs throughout the faction among the various races and the Jedi. The Coalition sends a fleet to Tholatin to reclaim the fallen world. There is no BDE presence on the world.

The Jedi/Rogue Jedi Order: Justice has triumphed in the end and perhaps a reading of the Xa Kra Prophecies of which Gash Jiren played a part is done. The darkness and hopelessness felt at the funeral of Gash Jiren is banished. They realize that they can go on and that the struggle for freedom and liberty and all things good is an ongoing process that one must be ever vigilant on. A lesson learned in the life of Gash Jiren.

The Empire: Fractured and at war with itself, posts of the thoughts and intentions of various suriving Imperials and what they plan to do.

The Sith Order: The Corellian Protectorate having broken away and under the power of the Sith, the members of the Order once more bask in their purpose to take their place as Masters of the Galaxy. The Jedi will be broken and their enemies in the Empire destroyed.

BDE: Dameo. The desert sands of Dameo are silent and slowly, the sand stirs as machines emerge. Far underground, in caverns of immensity the Taj resides over billions of machine intelligences arguing over their own superiority and how they could have failed. Cree Ar are blamed and the manifest destiny of the Dragons is reaffirmed. The setback is put behind them and the Daemun society begins to start all over again, all for the glory and will of their Taj. Daemun and machina overmind begin to split... new subfaction Dracconis surface.

Other Groups/characters: Any side you want to take part in and any event taking place you wish to be a part of is open.

Pimp. One question. Does this occur after Dolash's Kessel thread? Otherwise i can't really do much with Kamon. If it's before I can still RP Kamon on Kessel I suppose.

Or died from exhaustion, or eaten alive by starving prisoners, or fallen down and landed on his head, or died excrutiatingly from food poisoning, or been killed in a random freak accident involving another prisoner and his shovel...or...(well you get the picture)

Omnae, I'm just letting you know I'm still interested in playing a role in this RP. My ideas have shifted slightly due to the whole Zarko thing, but not too much. Grab me sometime on AIM and we'll do lunch.
