I have no problem with you playing parts of the Ishori populace, or with dealing with the Gourlag Sabateour. However, I find this paticular passage appaling:

"And let me ask you all a question. Your navy is in ruins, your military leaders are dead. That is all in the past. This is the present, and we are here in their place. We are not the Empire of old. The Empire of old would have slagged this world, and spared no mercy, and would have slaughtered every single crowd that would have protested it's reign. This is not the old Order. It's the New Order, and it's called that for a reason. We are not the brutal enemy of old, but the peacekeepers of the new. You want to know why we, as you called it, invaded? It's very simple. The Ishori senators came to me, begging me to help. Why? Because the Ishori and Diamala militaries were prepared to go to war once again, and the Ishori military commander was pushing things along even faster. Is that who you want for a leader, a warmongerer? Look at yourselves. I came bringing peace, and you respond with war. Is this whole society nothing but a warmongering race by default?" asked Admiral Kraken.

Which is responded to by this:

The Ishori all fell silent as they thought over Admiral Kraken's carefully chosen and heartfelt words for several moments. Then, some began to cry, while others collapsed, dropping their weapons, and running away in self shame and pity. With that disturbance over with, the Imperial procession proceeded to the barracks. When they arrived, several Imperial Intelligence officers were waiting for them. In a room was an Ishori male who had incited the crowd that he had just dispelled, and several bothans, the people who came to this world in the first place in order to incite these people. The Intelligence people made their report, and Admiral Kraken became aware of a criminal organization using these Bothans. The terroist plot began to make more and more sense as time went on. At about that time, the priority message came in from Gorulag, prompting Kraken to cut short his visit to Isht, and travel back to his flagship in preparation for immediate departure.

I mean come on. How many impassionated crowds, opressed and recently invaded, suddenly collapse at the word of their opressors?

Look at Iraq if you need a real world example.

What, you mean they're going to start waging a woefully ineffectual guerilla war?

But this isn't Iraq, or real life, is it? Besides, the Ishori have long been described not as warmongering, but industrious, and peaceful. I changed that for their military aspect to make the takeover seem more realistic.

BTW, I have a question for you. The bringing back up of excerpts from Isht, and the use of Bothans for it, reminds me strongly of Cortex, who seemed to be fixated on Isht.

Anyways, the uprising will soon be over anyways.

No this isn't real life, But you yourself stated:
I changed that for their military aspect to make the takeover seem more realistic.

I think every Rp at this board looks for realism. Just because my actions dont suit you, it doesn't mean you can defy reasonable "realistic" action based on "realistic" situations. With your argument, I can hyperspace threw a sun because this isn't real life.

O and by the way, in the Hand of Thrawn Duology, the Ishori were very millitaristic- they wanted venegence on the Bothan Clans who sabotaged the Caamas Sheild generators. The Diamlans were much more for peaceful than the Ishori, contrary to what you try to portray.

As for the use of exterpts from your takeover of Isht, I believe it is the right of any charater to use previously written material to convey a message, especially if its from this board. Don't believe me: see anything Kaine Posts.

And, just so no one cries fowl- I am or was Cortex. For clarification, I was not fixated on Isht, I just happened to show interest in it at the same time you did.

Oh and one more thing:

Anyways, the uprising will soon be over anyways.

Isn't that up to what happens in the RP? I mean, if everything is predetermined why do we even play this game?

Hey, if one crusader can incite a massive crowd within one post, so can a calming voice and damn good tatics calm it in one post.

I'm sorry if you don't like someone countering your tatics in the same amount of posts that you make them.

Dude, that arguement is so weak thats all I have to say about it. ALSO, you happen to be the one who caused all the strife they are suffering. You coudln't be a calming voice to them even if you bribed the whole population.

SO, how about an arguement with some real thought behind it?

Yeah Kraken, thats like saying:

Osama Bin Laden realeased a passionate tape about killing the "foreign devils" and causes a rabble. Then all of a sudden, Paul Bremer pops up and with a calm comforting speech the revolt collapses.

Not EVER going to happen.

Estro, this doesn't concern you. Not yet anyways.

I am not the one to cause the strife they are suffering. You are. You incited them to uprise, and put them in this position. And by my hand, you will pay, and pay dearly.

Oh but it does concern me. Anything involving the Union concerns me and seeing as how this concerns the Union, guess what? It concerns me.

Now as for that oh so wonderful oath you've apparently sworn, let me start by doing what a terrorist is likely to do if he heard such an announcement from some military official.

Ahem

ROFLMAO

Get the picture? You can't make pay what you can't find. Ever.
