This is a bit awkward. I mention that i am waiting for a post, then dissappear. :p
In my defense, I have spent the past week moving into an apartment at college, helping my sister move into her dorm room, move my roomates in etc.
Anyway, I'm now settled in. And ready to post.
But I have a problem with Telan's post.
If I read it correctly (and considering that I just skimmed it, I may not have) he indicates a massive amount of time (like nearly a half hour) in one post, and reinforces instantenously.
I defer to Vos - it's his thread, Im merely aiding. However, yes, that amount of time has passed given the time it would take for your force to come within weapons range of any viable targets. In that time, a transmission was sent to a neighboring system where additional forces are located. Said forces arrived.
Said forces did not engage your forces. You still have time to respond; you have had no direct negative action taken therefore cementing the post's legality
Telan, stop right there. You should know better then most not to dictate the terms of posts outside your own. That said...
This is your post, thus; your responsibility thus; removed is the option the ability to defer to the not-present Wes.
Oh, really?
Heh. Imagine that. Behave Telan, else I shall have to spank you.
From what I've read I would be inclined to agree with Telan, that nothing has been compromised. However even I can see a potential problemn arising in the future as a result of this "time" issue.
I would suggest that you, Glaxon, still have the opportunity to write in that period of time given the proper perspective and narrative.
And Beff, darling, I was not dictating - merely illuminating possibility.
Besides, what Beff and I do off the boards is no ones business but his, mine, and the select 3.5 million viewers on the other side of our 19.95 per month webcam service
I had planned on interfering with the Imperial's reinforcement process (something that was made possible by the fact that the fleets likely to be used in that capacity along with a few statements in relevate RPs made it possible.)
However, obviously, if said forces arrive immediately, my action has been pre-empted... which sort of ruins how I was planning to progress the story.
