I know this has probably been asked before, but oh well. I have a question pertaining to hyperspace. What happens if your ship is in hyperspace and goes right into a ship in realspace? Do you understand what I'm saying? Like the ship in hyperspace goes through the same point as the ship in real space at the same time.
Ich Habe Eine Fraga
I think the answer is "Nothing".
No.. the answer is KABLOOM.. what happens when a car on the freeway goes through the same point as another car on the freeway?
See, that's what I thought, but then why doesn't it happen more often? You don't hear about these things in the books, or the movies, or anywhere. Nobody crosses paths like that?
Navicomputers...
NavComps keep you form using the same path as someone in real space?
No. But space is fucking massive. And it has happened... kind of.
In one of the crappy Marvel comics some moron brought his fleet out of hyperspace right in path of the Executor, crashing three ISDs into it. Not exactly you're situation, but fairily close.
FYI, someone (might have been me) brought this issue up in the past, too.

Hmm. Well, I was just wondering so I figured I'd ask. I might make an RP about it just for the heck of it.
"Without precise calculations we could fly right through a star or
bounce too close to a supernova"
The same would probably be said for ships.
Perhaps hyperspace traffic lanes regulate that.

That guy was Admiral Griff (not my old character), who supervised the construction of the Executor at Kuat. And it happened when he brought in a few support ISDs to help the Executor when it was destroying the remnants of the Rebels on Yavin 4, after the first Death Star was destroyed.
