How would I go about training say my character as a Rogue or Shadow Jedi.... the point of either is that they don't follow the Order and prinicples of Sith or Jedi correct? So having him trained by say a Jedi Knight or a Sith would make a whole bunch of sense .... I'm just a bit confused.

Get trained by a faction then abandon it I would assume.

Exactly what is the difference in training a Rogue Jedi, a Shadow Jedi, and a regular Jedi?

Well the whole point to Rogue and Shadow Jedi is that they aren't Order and don't follow principles and rules.. at least thats what I think. So it makes no sense for me to train under a Jedi Master is I am a Shadow Jedi.

We already have some long standing Rogue and Shadow history, so allow me to enlighten those unaware of the current definition TRF has had. I'm not saying if you want to call yourself a Rogue or Shadow Jedi, you have to play your character like this, but this is how they used to be played.

Rogue Jedi: Rogue Jedi were first introduced to the TRF galaxy by Gash Jiren (Theren Gevel), as a group of Jedi that did not follow the Jedi Code, for they viewed it as too strict and not offensive enough in a war torn galaxy. Gash led a bunch of regular Jedi away from the Order and formed the Rogue Jedi Order, which has since collapsed OOCly.

Shadow Jedi: Shadow Jedi might have been brought into TRF earlier on than this, but the first time I remember hearing about them was when Chadd Fearsons left the Rogue Jedi Order to form the Shadow Jedi Order. Under his leadership, Shadow Jedi were Jedi who fought for the same ideals as pure and Rogue Jedi did, but believed that they could utilize the Darkside to aid them in their cause, as long as they were not consumed by its temptations. Since then, they have collapsed OOCly and ICly.

Hope that helps.

Titus has a Shadow Jedi character, Tobal Hadul. Hes a Knight level, so he technically could take you on in apprenticeship if both you and he are willing, but of course I do not speak for him.

I have the only remaining Shadow Jedi of OSJ, now since collapsed OOC as Zark said. IC they are around, just very, very low on members. I will not, however, be taking on any padawan's with him, as he will be joining the regular Jedi Order during a currently active RP.

If you want informantion on what the current state of affairs are with OSJ you can AIM me (I'll be on later tonight) or send a PM. My AIM is amishforkfight.

Welcome to TRF.
