I am going insane.

Procrastination and college do not go hand in hand, it seems. I have no idea where on earth the past couple of weeks have gone to -- having finally adjusted to the constant sleepdep, my body has apparently grown accustomed to the concept of staying awake for days at a time, but my brain is still desperately attempting to play catch-up. In about three hours from now, I have two assignments due in, neither of which I have started on yet. Tomorrow, I have an essay to hand in (which I similarly haven't even begun to consider), and on Saturday, a test for a course I haven't really attended any classes for (because our lecturer is quite possibly the most boring person in the universe).

Basically, in other words: Shabby is in big, big trouble. And the sad part is, this has been happening ever since I got here ... and things aren't likely to change, either. Whee.

But yeah. It honestly feels like just the other day that I talked to Adhee about our new thread, and then wham, the time passed by just like that and I'm no closer to having achieved anything at all. I'm sorry, I really am, but lately I haven't had time to come online for anything really, other than to just check my email on occasion. That's about it. After my test on Saturday morning, I won't have anymore homework to submit until Tuesday, and so, in theory, I should be in my room long enough to get some posting done during that short period. I realise that I am a constant disappointment to certain people (namely Adhee, Irtar and Ahnk), but I really hope you understand. I sincerely did mean to post when I said I would, but just like that, the weekends were over and I was back to struggling with sleepdep and exhaustion. Go me.

So in conclusion: lab reports fucking SUCK. And I'm sorry.

I agree. I don't want to go, but it seems that one cannot get far in america without a piece of paper saying that you can put up with four years of BS unrelated to what you are applying for now.

Try not to stress over things too much Taja, you just have to get into the swing of things.

Everyone knows RL takes precident anyway so I am sure they will understand you not posting.

Try to focus, and do what you need to get done. Get rid of any distractions, ie: no AIM or MSN or TV etc...

If you get too worked up you won't ever get any sleep, and a bit of sleep can work miracles on ones concentration. I know you have problems sleeping, so I feel for you.

Good luck. I hope you can get everything sorted.

Irtar has made me wait months and months and months and a bunch more months. Don't worry. At least you have an excuse. And things are never so bad they can't get worse!

Or something. Beffy loves you.
