Kamon, perhaps something where you don't actually control any planets, your 5000 word takeovers are based around creating cells of supporters on existing planets, that way you can't be directly attacked. It of course limits the meterage/whatever you gain from each cell, but allows other options like increased espionage opportunities on said planets.

Perhaps also because you aren't actually taking the planets you could get the cells off 2000 words instead of 5000 or somesuch.

Much more realistic for the 'rebellion' style of RPage.

I debated posting anything, because it really does nothing more than drive your point home. But something had to be said. That was one of the most ridiculous statements I've ever heard you make. Not because it's completely untrue, but because it's hugely unneccessary and self-indulgent. What gives you the right, then, to do the exact same thing? I mean, if you would take one minute to look over the thread, you will notice that the first time I said anything about flaming was in response to something Kamon said. And while it might have been directed at both of them, it was hardly to "give Gue grief". Although I freely admit my first post was gentle ribbing with that intention, but that was, I think, quite clear. Having just slogged my way through several ridiculous "debates" that turned to easily into flame wars, I have no interest in seeing it happen again. But Gue was quite clearly trying to provoke that, and I know from experiance that Kamon is not going to sit there and take it. So excuse me if I care that TRF doesn't see another even more useless flame war. And thank you for your fine appreciation of my efforts.
