A great read, good work on both parts.

Just one problem...

Telan
Admiral Archibald Thomas stood from his seat in the third row, recognized immediately by those who turned as the man whose mission it was to respond to Xa Fel. His squadron had driven off the grotesque warship at the center of the enemy's formation.

The problem with retroactive futures is that you never know how they're going to shape up. I realize the thread follows the events at Xa Fel, but making any allusions to outcomes as of yet not penned is, perhaps, unwise.

Unless you're alluding to a conclusion which will never be penned.

Like BEA. >_>

Well, while Beff has a point, Telan's post only acknowledges two facts that ultimately go in favor of the Crusade:

1. The grotesque warship of Beff's leaves Xa Fel

2. (more importantly) The grotesque warship of Beff's survives Xa Fel

If he wants to say that your warship leaves because of action taken on his part, that is just point of view. For all we know, Doan Silk had to go pee and didn't want to do it in the Sith System, hence his ship leaves.

Granted, Beff might simply set his ship on self-destruct in Homecoming just to prove Telan's post wrong but then that would simply be a win of another sort for Telan, no?

I'm not looking for revisions and/or edits. At all. Not my intent and I hope T knows me better'n that.

I was just making a point. A dull one.

I do indeed know you better. I was being retroactive given that the thread does indeed take place after the Battle of Xa Fel and at least as far as the naval action goes, the master of the crusade and I have amicably planned things.

But yes, you are correct, I am alluding to facts that have not happened. yet.
