Question...where are all the factions located? I don't want to jump into something complicated right away. Any advise on something simple my character can do?

Check out the Visitor's Centre, for starters... it contains "useful" information... or something.

My first bit of advice would be to take a look around the battlegrounds and some of the boards, and join a group based on seeing something you like. Its the easiest way to meet others and from there you can always evolve and change your char to suite how you feel.

The factions are located (their boards) on the dropdown menus on the bottom of the page. Planetwise, you'll have to take a look at the planets list in the top of the OOC forum.
