A couple of points for historical reference:

1) With our different history, the Super Star Destroyer Guardian would not have existed. She was originally an Imperial Remnant ship, comissioned just before NJO, then joined the Galatic Alliance fleet later in the storyline.

2) The Guardian was neither an Eclipse nor an Executor class destroyer. It is what's known as a Guardian type Super Star Destroyer, referring to the earlier ship under Drommel, that's a shrunken but still powerful version of the original Executors.

3) Eclipse; 17,500 meters length. Sovereign; 15,000 meters length. Executor; 12,500 meters length.

Those notes aside, talking about discovering new resources aside and all that, I don't think it's necessarily a forbidden deal, but if you did "discover" new resources, you would need to extensivley develop them, and they would need to be less abundant than historical canon resources for that resource. You won't be able to, in other words, discover it in one thread, and have taken full use of it in the next thread.

Well, sorry for stirring this up then. My mistake. I appreciate all of your concerns in not wanting a huge race to find loss superweapons or massive warships. I think that the Guardian as a storyline vessel will be destroyed by an accident then within my RP.

I should probably cover this then before it becomes an issue.

Second, I seem to remember you saying something about trying to claim that the canon resource bacta is now being produced on one of your worlds like Thyferra. I don't know if you went through with this or not but this is not something that is allowed at TRF.

Stellar and myself did bring Bacta production to Genon. It also took us literally twenty posts to do. I realize it won't be ever be as extensive as Thyferra. I'm also under the impression that the Commonwealth has done a similar arrangement previously working with rogue Vratix to have their own bacta producing arrangement. Is there any problems with this?

Did you ever wonder why nobody- in canon or TRF history- ever did that? I believe that it was found to be impossible to grow it off of Thyferra, though I don't know the exact reasons.

Not really... All you need is a specific kind of mold and a Vratix to cook it up. Thyferra just has an environment conducive for it. Most of the export quality stuff is made off planet or in spacestations I believe.

Oh. My mistake then.

But if it's not cool, we don't really care. The Vinda Corporation controls a huge chunk of the bacta production on Thyferra after all.

Didn't the Republic have an ESD?

I think it was commanded by Gash Jiren at one time.

Personally, I think the Coalition has more than enough planets to support an ESD.
