As creative as <a href="http://pub33.ezboard.com/fswalliancefrm16.showMessage?topicID=345.topic" target="_new">this</a> is, is it even allowed by the rules?
To attempt to destroy the entire communications link between the entire coalition/outer rim sovereignty/tholatin in a single post without giving any of them a chance to do anything about it? Most poignantly in a thread that doesn't label them in any way?
If so I'll get on an RP to ammend it, but I am just curious if this is within the bounds of the rules.

I'm of the opinion that something of this magnitude should be role-played out. The post insinueates that the Empire was responsible, some sort of op was done...
On the other hand, if you can knock it out in one post, you could most certainly repair it in a matter of three.

Sounds shady to me.
If it was done in the battleground, I would still question it.

pub33.ezboard.com/fswalli...1264.topicThis is the thread where it was mentioned. The only reason I'm so curious about it is because it did not "reference" us in any way and by all means appeared to be a closed RP.
Then suddenly he comes out of nowhere and says "By the way no one can talk to anyone any more."

I agree, all involved governments need to be involved in such an action.

I'm not of course trying to whine or start a fight...I don't doubt the tactical necessity - and intelligence of such a manuever - I simply queston the severity of this action with so little forewarning or chance to respond.

Oh, just for the record, he wouldn't know where they all are, since we have them spread across numerous areas, including Wild Space and the Unknown Regions(to contact our hidden planets).

It is quite clear that all of the Red Dawn threads involve the GC or ORS in some way. And they were given an oppertunity to respond.
Jan, hiding relay stations is next to impossible. If you transmit through it, we can track its location.

It was overruled either way so arguing over it with GC/ORS is a moot point.
