*Whistles*

You know you've made it as a secret organization, when people start seeing your hand in things you didn't do.

You know you've made it as a secret organization, when the head of the biggest at TRF feels compelled to comment on yours.

(Brutus should know, like)

No need to hound Joren, Simon. It can be a sore thing to be outmaneauvered, and do we all always remember to fully research every move we make? I admit, this was a golden opportunity that we could have avoided giving you with a little thought, but no need to question a valid roleplay.

During the Massacare of Mendrosia, an insect swarm appeared from nowhere and gobbled up a fair share of the planetary population just to give the Imperial roleplayers a new and interesting enemy to face - should we be snapping at them for making up a force to further a plotline? No, it was used for dramatic effect and that's a cheap shot. Sure, I might make some insinuations in an IC News and Propaganda piece, or suspect an Imperial hand with my characters, but using it OOC as a 'mistake' is a bit of a push beyond the fact that we should have taken greater care when approaching a league planet.

While I'm at it, let me say that your grand design here hasn't just caught up Joren or I in your web, but also some new roleplayers trying their first characters at this site, and turning the full force of one of your plots onto them because it's strategically expedient (as the Empire seems to be doing a lot these days) is the sort of thing I would only accept from you. I trust you to be fair enough in your handling of this situation so as not to run them off the board or annihilate what little they've created so far with overwhelming force, because you've always been an advocate of RP cooperation and thinking about the welfare of the board as a whole and its' many members over personal ambitions. Anyone else I'd suspect of just trying to drive off a few potential 'enemies' before they could become assets to the Coalition.

So yes, while I commend you for your strategic coup, there should be some leeway allowed to Joren and perhaps the newcomers to be miffed by this surprise. Was it avoidable on our part? Yes, but not everyone plays on your level all the time, so when your full force is triggered it's natural some will feel the burn.

You know... instead of explaining my thought processes as I tend to do, I should have just said, "Thanks".

Sometimes I talk too much for my own good.

I just seem to remember a problem that came up once or twice recently about double planetary takeovers or someone taking something that was already in the process of being taken and all it would have taken was a simple search of the planet's name in the battleground forum. That is all I mean when I say "research".

As for "who actually did it", it doesn't really matter. It could have been General Ceel in the BoP for all I know. Joren gave scant clues as to who it might have been and should he choose to expound on it or not is his choice.

I will talk no more on this and will edit out my (obviously) offending words.

You know, if it was Ceel I would laugh.

Do it. Lynch him! Again! :P

Vive le'Simon!

Now you see - I picked the best Mentor I could. Though the idea is far too democratic for my autocratic tastes, I would follow Omnae into hell.

Hm. I never said it was a BOP. I said it COULD have been a BOP. And if it was, it could have been stolen or even a BOP that the UNION has created.

Perhaps it is you who should also do some research.

And the whole Glee Anselm bioattack thing is just a small part of a large storyline I am running about Joren Logan.

But I'm sure this thing can go down reasonably.

Simon, hit me up with a PM so we can discuss. That way we can avoid any OOC war of words and make a really good RP.
