The Clive and Azguard don't exist in Star Wars but Dolash and I made them.

Yes but those are species. The problem with Vampires is that they're a mythical race of beings not alive but not dead who drink blood for substenance. Beyond that, it really depends whether you're into White Wolf, Anne Rice, Legacy of Kain, or the many other Vampire Worlds as to what they're weaknesses are and what they're capabilities are.
Vampires are a species too :p
Actually, I had a great deal of issues with transferring Vampires which is based on our single race to a world of many races. Does a vampire need blood campatible to it's species to survive? If it drinks from another species, does it change to match how it's draining the genetics of that race instead?
The Vampires I used was a realm were blood was the essence of life so it made things far more interesting with the concept of 'Would my character gain a con bonus for taking in the energies of a Dwarf?'
Also, Vampires can't breed to make more (in most mythos) so they also aren't considered a 'race' per say. The closest we would find would be a disease. And in a world where biological warfare is major (From both TNO and BDE) to introduce something like vampirism would give a major twist.
And now I'm ranting without any unifing point.
Shit.

The "vampires" that exist here are only the Anzati, but they don't take in blood, but the "soup" or essence of their victims.
How did vampires come to exist in SW? o.O

We do have one Anzati character on the board, quite an old and well-established person too.
I have a couple of 'vampire' characters, one is Asri, who really isn't a vampire at all and only drinks blood because the nano's in her demand the metal content of it (and she found out she 'can' eat other things as long as it meets that one requirement). And then there's my actual vampire species the Tuezo (info -here-), one of which I have running around in the galaxy...
He's talkin' 'bout me.
And yes, I do. Even before Star Wars Republic (Dark Horse) slaughtered the old mystique that surrouded my species.
I know too much. Unhealthy really.

In addition to the bovine porn?
