Alice In Wonderland taught me this as a child:

Take candy from strangers.
Break into people's houses and look around. Eat there food if you find any.
Eat mushrooms.
Talk to and have tea with strangers.
Smoke a hooka with a stranger that has no idea who you are.
Try to be polite to and friends with obviously psychotic people.

Did you know that the phrase "Mad Hatter" actually does come from crazy people who make hats? It used to be that in order to stiffen hats after you made them you held them over a pot of boiling mercury (for mercury steam). Obviously that made the hatters... mad after a while.

Of course now some kid drops a mercury thermometer and we send the entire school home without shoes...
