Actually took the time to upgrade my crap computer, into a ...uh...less crap computer...

got some RAM, 250G HD, a new sound card , and a DVD burner...

(if only I could get it to SEE the new HD that would be good)


I am hoping this, alongside a new modem (broadband connection) should see me free to join you lot in some online gaming , without lameness.

Do they offer xbox live over there?

New HD's usually need to be formatted and mounted. Right click the 'My Computer' icon, go to 'Manage'. Under 'Storage' go to 'Disk Management'. From there you should see several discs. For example, mine has one HD labled as 'Disk 0'. Right-clicking on ... um ... the big green bar? I forget. Your current, in-use HD's will have a blue bar. The new one should ... well, you should be able to tell. It's a pretty big disk. Right-click, format, do some other stuff and it should appear.

and you still have some prop posts to get to, lol

heh, yeah, actually thats what I've just spent most of the evening doing.

I now have a new HD, WHICH I CAN SEE! AND USE! *gibber*

What really sucks though is England's first game is the same time as my best mates bloody wedding!!! ..and I'm the best man, so its not like I can sneak out or anything...
