I would like to get two things from each active group on TRF.
1 - A longish description of your group. Must include your affiliation, goals (politically, militarily, economically), links to a page telling how to join (for those of you on TRF, include a link to your basic Member usergroup, accessable via your UserCP) and the name of the group leader.
2 - A short description of your group. Keep it under 40 words long. This will go on the index of the forum, so make it catchy, descriptive, and interesting!
Get it to me ASAP, if you can. If you can't, I'll make something up (see forum index for examples of what I make up).

Short Description The New Galactic Coalition is a tight-knit group of independant governments dedicated to defying the expanding empires of the galaxy and restoring freedom to all people. Although they are weak when compared to other's might, they possess a strong spirit.
Long Description The New Galactic Coalition is somewhat of a United Nations of the galaxy, made up of independant planets and people who agree to work with the rest of the Coalition in return for their support. A democratically inclined group, it is spread out on the edge of the galaxy, on the boarders of the galaxy's Empire-controlled core.
Their military and economic strength is fairly low, as most of the strongest planets have been claimed, but a race of beings known as the Azguards have emerged from the depths of wild space to help lead and fight for the Coalition in these dark times. To support the planets, vast natural resource deposits are constantly explored, and the economy is under the short leash of the Coalition itself to ensure it goes in just the right direction.
The Coalition is lead by it's House of Representatives, a group of democratically elected Coalition members who collectively decide issues of foreign affairs, military significance, and national crisis. Here as well the Azguards are present, for their leader - Regrad - has been elected Prime Minister. Free of the clutter of corruption and unified by a common cause, the House is vibrant and focused, not weighted down with infighting or division.
The Coalition makes best use of it's limited resources through the White Knights and the Praetorian Guard - two military organizations meant to protect the people and fight the enemy. The White Knights train the Coalition's military and keep peace, sniffing out corruption and serving the common people directly. The Praetorian Guard, on the other hand, spearhead assaults and train constantly under the most stressful conditions.
In recent days, the Coalition has stepped up it's efforts to recruit new members from across the galaxy, and building up it's member's economies and armies to become a galactic contender. With a uniting purpose, and continued Imperial oppression weighing on the minds of the people of the galaxy, the Coalition continues it's struggal for freedom.

Way to go Dolash, make it exactly 40 words (assuming a tight-knit is one word). Ours will obviously be the best.

Short Description
In the back alleys and dark corners of the galaxy, lurks a sinister presence. A confederacy of the power-hungry and avaricious, the Union brings together a diverse group of criminals, assassins and terrorists to achieve its own agenda- or for a price, yours.
Long Description
In the shadowy underworld of the planet Jutraal one man, former Jutraalian Admiral Estro Sabrino, forged an alliance between two of the galaxies most powerful criminal entities: Black Sun and the Jutraal Syndicate. Not content with his success in the criminal world alone, Sabrino took up the mysterious mantle of The Chairman, and began organizing a powerful collective that would attract the power-hungry from all corners of the galaxy.
To strengthen his mighty organization, Sabrino allied himself with an enterprising and radical terrorist, Brutus Nogoth, who’s Galactic Liberation Front rocked the galaxy with a series of terrific bombings and terrorist attacks. The Union gained an even larger control of the galaxies crime network by forging an alliance with the Hutts, and the remnants of the intergalactic crime syndicate of the Exchange. To provide funding and additional resources, the Union reached out to several major galactic corporations, including Belgardi Limited, Agro Incorporated and the Tagge Company.
The Union, as large and diverse at it is, is the galaxies best kept secret. Millions of sentients work for the organization but do not know it. Only the highest leaders of the parent organizations know the whole truth of the Union, as they make up "The Committee", the select group of powerful men, women and aliens who help determine the actions and agenda for the Union. The Union holds no permanent allegiance to any major galactic power, and conducts most of its meetings on its mobile headquarters, the Super Star Destroyer Midas , which remains constantly on the move to avoid detection. Recently the Tagge Company finished construction on a secret planet in the deep core, nicknamed the Forge, to provide the Union an alternative base of operations.
As galactic politics change the Union adapts to new situations. As the organization grows, most of its resources have been focused on the GLF's Operation Upheaval , as well assisting its large corporations gain ground against their primary competitors. The Union continues to expand, bringing in more and more diverse groups as time progresses, such as the Liberty Sect, a terrorist/freedom fighter organization dedicated to freeing Anoat and the Ison corridor from foreign rule.
Though its existence is not known by any of the galaxy most prominent governments, the Galactic Coalition's Intelligence Agency has some clues about its existence, and it is unlikely that the group will remain secret forever.
